Rob Lovell Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 I have trouble setting up my WACOM Intuos Pen to change the brush size in Windows 10. I am assure that in affinity 1.8 the shortcut to change the brush size has changed to "alt + right mouse click + left mouse click". Using my mouse this works perfectly moving left/right to change the brush size. But when I add this shortcut to my Pen I cannot use this function using my pen. I have tried to disable "windows ink" in both the preferences in Affinity Designer and the wacom settings, but this doesn not help. This is really anoying. Is there a workaround? Quote
Staff stokerg Posted April 14, 2020 Staff Posted April 14, 2020 Hi Rob Lovell and Welcome to the Forums, The default keyboard shortcut for Decreasing brush size is [ and increasing is ] so if you set those as shortcuts for your Pen in the Wacom settings, i suspect it will work Quote
markw Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 Yes, you can setup the Wacom pen to do this. See my resent post on how I have setup my pen here: I'm on a Mac, so not sure if you will need different modifier keys or not on Windows. But it dose work. Rob Lovell Posted April 17, 2020 Author Posted April 17, 2020 Thank you for your response, but unfortunatly this did not help. Does anyone know the modifier-keys for changing the brush size using your pen for windows 10. "ctrl & opt" is no option on windows since it lacks the "opt-key". I tried many variations of "ctrl + x" but can not find a solution. Using the mouse I can use the keys "alt + right click + left click" in windows 10. But I want to use a shortcut on my pen for changing the brush size moving the pen left or right. I would be very grateful for further help on this topic. Quote
Ron P. Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 @Rob Lovell, I set one of the buttons on my pen to use the Modifier, ALT + R Click. Just hold the button while dragging. This has been working for me on my Wacom Intuos 3. Quote Affinity Photo 2.5..; Affinity Designer 2.5..; Affinity Publisher 2.5..; Affinity2 Beta versions.
