Manipulating text

Please tell me how to enable text to follow a  contour shape in affinity photo,Windows 10!

I used be able in Page Plus but have totally forgotten the procedure, and I am trying to creat a poster of  a rainbow with text following the edge!! 😉

I'm afraid it looks like Text on a Path is a feature of Designer, but not Photo.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, @bakdoc.

Are you looking for something like this text on a path:

Or are you looking for something like this, where the text flow follows the outline of another object (in this case, an ellispse):

Or do you mean something like this, where the text is enclosed within an object:

You can do that last one in Photo.

The first require functions from Designer or Publisher (which is the nearest Affinity equivalent to Page Plus, I think). The second was done (easily) in Publisher, but could be done in Photo by constructing a shape and then turning it into a Text Frame and filling it with the text. That's what was done for the last one, but the shape in the second one would be harder to construct.

However, the successor to PagePlus is Affinity Publisher, which can also do Text on path.
