Hi guys,

I am very new to digital design so I am wondering if anyone seniors out there with professional experience is willing to coach me and guide me through the design process on a budget?

I am currently looking to learn how to do photo manipulation and is hoping to find someone to guide me to through a few projects from start to finishing to help me get started.

I do not know whats the budget is like for a coach, hopefully i can afford it.

Thanks

Gilbert

Have you looked at the Workbooks which Serif have produced for Designer and Photo?  They take you through a series of projects which teach you rather more than the basics of each program.  And the cost is likely to be rather less than what you might pay for one-to-one coaching!

Why not make a post explaining about one or more of the specific problems you encounter when using the Workbook?  I'm pretty sure quite a number of fellow-users would be happy to help you resolve them.

Thanks.. I might try that.. Just afraid it might take up too much time? Still exploring my options.. no harm trying posting a few specific problems i guess.

No harm at all!

That's one of the purposes of this forum.  Many of us have many reasons to be thankful for the help offered by other users and Serif staff.

If you are willing to pay, then I would recommend the excellent video tutorials by @drippy cat on Udemy.

Just click on the link (blue) in John's post to go direct to the Udemy site, and then search for "Affinity".
