Portrait Pro 19 Plugin with Affinity Photo 1.8.2

Hi,
I installed PortraitPro 19.6 and the Portrait Pro 19.6 plugin. When I start the plugin (Filter -> Plugins -> Anthropics -> PortraitPro) Affinity Photo 1.8.2 crashes. Is there a solution for the problem?

Hi Lug, welcome to the Affinity Forums.

I don't think we've ever had much luck getting this to work effectively as a plugin. It certainly isn't one we officially support. There's a number of threads lying around.

Has this ever worked and is this a new version of the plugin you've updated to?

Hi,

MacOS 10.15.4; AP 1.8.3; Portrait Pro 19.7 (all latest versions)

Here https://www.anthropics.com/support/portraitpro/plugins/ under "How do I set PortraitPro for use with Affinity Photo", one leads to believe that PortraitPro 19 will work as a plugin in Affinity Photo.

AP sees the plugin after I copy it into default plugin folder. However when I select the plugin (Filters->Plugins->Anthropics->PortraitPro), AP crashes.

Welcome to Affinity Forums
Although a few older versions (v12, v15) did work with Affinity Photo, the most recent one (v19) does crash Affinity Photo on launch. I've logged this to be looked at. Hopefully it may be a simple fix.

Im am on Affinity photo 1.9.1 and portrait pro 21 and still have the same issue.
