Steganographer Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Title says it all... Whenever I export out of Affinity Photo, the exported photo becomes highly desaturated.. Quote

MikeA Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 I see posts about this problem fairly often in the Capture One group on Facebook. If you're using Windows and if you're using its built-in image viewer, you're examining your images in a non-color-managed program. For an image viewer on Windows I use the freeware called Irfanview (irfanview.com), which is color-managed. I liked the program enough that I registered it even though I'm not using it for commercial purposes—I'm in and out of that program scores of times each week. If you download it, I recommend also downloading and installing its (free) extensions package. And if you're not using these programs on a Windows machine, apologies for the unnecessary reply and feel free to use this comment for wrapping fish. Dan C Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Hi Steganographer Sorry to hear this! As MikeA has mentioned, this is possibly due to Affinity being Colour Manged applications, whereas many default image viewers are not. We're going to need some files and further information to investigate this, could you please provide a copy of your Affinity document, a sample of the exported image and a screenshot of your export settings, including the 'More' options? Many thanks in advance! Quote
