When we create a new preset document from the categories “web” and “devices”, some presets are unexpectedly set at 144 dpi, instead of 72 dpi.

This causes that when exporting the artboard as a slice (through the Export persona), the artboard’s size is reduced at the half. So if the preset artboard is 1080×1080 px, the resulting JPG (exported at 1x), will be 540×540 px. I thought it was a bug (probably it is) until I figured out what was going on. This is weird and misleading.

I'm not sure if this isn't exactly a bug but

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Yes, I’ve got caught out by this a couple of times in the past using the export persona!
It is by design! See Gabe’s post here when I asked about it, for a breakdown of what output sizes to expect:

macOS 12.7.6  15" Macbook Pro, 2017  |  4 Core i7 3.1GHz CPU  |  Radeon Pro 555 2GB GPU + Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 1.536GB  |  16GB RAM  |  Wacom Intuos4 M
