Anna Glasinger
I have the same problem. I am near tears, because I made changes to 20 files I was working on (for a long time) and after the update I can not export them anymore. I also can not open it with a previous version. Can anybody help? (Windows version)

Baldor
I have posted this elsewhere, but I thought it might be of interest. I have been having the same problem (export failures to PDF) with some of my files using Affinity Publisher 1.8 for Windows (10). I did a step by step rebuild of one of my files testing export to PDF as I went. All went well until I included a graphic pasted from the misbehaving file. The publication I was rebuilding then had an error in exporting. I deleted the graphic from that publication and it exported OK. I re-inserted the graphic and the export failed. I did this several times each time with the same result. I removed the graphic from the original misbehaving file and it exported OK. I have attached a test file I created with some explanatory text in it along with the dodgy graphic. See you if have the same experience as me. Wonder what it is about the graphic? FredM
I have also been having ‘Export to PDF’ failures and found that the old profiles I used with version 1.7 that automatically imported into 1.8 are the problem. If I use the default profiles, I can export OK.

TEST 1.afpub 43.62 kB · 2 downloads The triangle has a negative stroke width! I don't know how that came to be, but set the stroke to none and the export will be possible.
