ianrobertdouglas Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 I used to be able to do this in AD1.7. Trying this on 1.8 doesn't work. Example structure: All the lines should change when I change one of them. Even though all symbols are seemingly synced, this is not happening. Quote
ianrobertdouglas Posted March 2, 2020 Author Posted March 2, 2020 No one was able to reproduce this, or I'm doing something wrong? Quote

I made a straight line, made a symbol out of it. Named it. Placed it from the symbols panel onto the document then duplicated it and grouped it and made a symbol out of that and placed that symbol on the page. Expanded the layers and selected one line and curved it and twisted it and everything curved and twisted. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Staff Sean P Posted March 5, 2020 Staff Posted March 5, 2020 Hi ianrobertdouglas, Could you attach a video showing how you've set your file up (shown in the screenshot) please? I have a feeling it is the symbols being inside Groups that are causing the issue. Quote
