Publisher freezes after changing Text Frame panel info

I have these curves that have been converted to a 'text on curve'. And when I change the color of the curve in the Text Frame panel, Publisher becomes unresponsive.

Publisher 1.8 freezes (has done it about 5 times, same scenario) when working with text frames. With the text frame toolbox open, when I've made a change, AP freezes when I try to close the toolbox.

Do you have any steps I can follow that might help me reproduce that? Assuming by toolbox you are referring to the text frame panel I've inserted text frames and tweaked a fair few values and closed it and not had a freeze.

@Jon P Have you tried using my file from above? Maybe it has something to do with already existing files. Sometimes it freezes right away (while working on that file), sometimes it takes 10~15 secs.

I was replying to @John Hodge - I've reproduced it with your file, I just wanted a bit more info from him to check if it was the same thing or if it was a different issue
