Undo (cmd+z) and Redo (shift+cmd+z) not accessible

Hello,

since the update to version 1.8.0 undo and redo from the edit panel are not accessible anymore (I didn't even notice that the software had updated).

I purchased Designer and Photo via the appstore back in 2016.

Attached find a screenshot demonstrating the issue: I created a new document, with 3 rectangles but I can't undo anything. Same behaviour when I open and edit any of my existing *.afdesign files.

Am I missing something here because no one else has posted this (pretty major) issue so far?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Say, is there a way to somehow switch or transfer my appstore affinity purchases for mac over to affinity?
I purchased publisher directly via affinity.serif.com and I would like to have all my purchased mac software bundled at one place with licences.

I am in the same situation and will wait until version 2.0.0 (most likely to be a paid upgrade) and then buy from Serif.

Hi franzanzanz,
There's no way to transfer/switch licenses between stores, sorry. The Affinity and Mac App Store are independent/managed by different entities.
As Old Bruce suggested the paid upgrade to v2.0 is probably your best chance to make the switch buying Photo/Designer 2.0 directly from the Affinity Store.
