LostInTranslation Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 This is just a minor nuisance, but after updating to Photo 1.8, it's desktop icon was gone. Designer removed the icon, but made a new one at another position. Publisher left the icon completely untouched. Strange that they behave so differently ... (Win10/64) Quote
emmrecs01 Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 @LostInTranslation This is not something that happened on my machine when I updated to 1.8 versions of all three apps. The desktop icons were still there after the update and correctly pointed to the "new" versions. So, what you are seeing is not a "general" problem. walt.farrell Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Nor were my Affinity desktop icons removed during the 1.8 update.
