When I copy Hebrew text from a word doc into Designer or Publisher, it reverses the text. I know Hebrew is read right to left, but it's already corrrect in word, so why does Affinity reverse the letter order?

Early, I copied and pasted Arabic from a word document into Publisher sucessfully. Now, when I copy  an paste the same text into the same Publisher file, it now comes out like this...赧桒 貪硼゚モ 槢衂ネ ナ碆 ヌ矼マムモノ.  Not sure how I could do this previously and now I can't. And why does it copy as Arabic and paste as Japanese in Affinity. On any other MS Office document, it pastes Arabic correctly.
