I am working on this project whereby I need to swap out the pillows but I keep getting this runoff and I cannot figure out why. Probably really simple but I am completely baffled after watching a TON of videos. It seems my image layers gets messed up. Can someone help me please? Thank you.

Hi SoulSurfer,

Welcome to the forums :)

I'm not sure if I understand your problem if possible could you provide the file in question so I can look into this further for you? Could you also please point out the layer you are having problems with?

Thanks

C

I think they are talking about the white block around the top left corner of the selected pillow. Maybe upload the file so we can take a look at it @SoulSurfer

@SoulSurfer One of the devs can post a link to a private dropbox space so they can take a look without it being on a public forum, so I'd request that. @Callum

If you look at the pillow close-up it appears to be clipped by the pillow on the left because it follows the right side and bottom edges. Do you have a layer blend mode set for the smaller square pillow?

@SoulSurfer You can always PM me a link to the afphoto file and I can take a look at it, it's also a good idea to save the file with history, this helps with the workflow.

Thank you @firstdefence! After much struggle, I found a Youtube vid for face replacement. My problem was that I was "placing" the new pillow over the selection, but not creating a Mask right after. I have now solved most of it. Thank you all for your continued encouragement.
