bamboo-water Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 I have a really strange situation where View | Toggle UI is STUCK in the View Mode, and no matter what I try, I cannot get back to "Working Mode" with the Tools and everything else. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a fix for this? Quote
Old Bruce Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Are you in Separated Mode? I seem to recall some people had difficulties with that. Caveat the following will delete your custom settings and brushes so back them up first. You may have to reset user defaults by holding down the Control whilst starting the application then click Clear. I am going by memory here but this is caused by quitting while the interface is hidden. I think that is the cause. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

(ESC seems more intuitive to bring back tools if you've gotten into full view mode via the top menu, but it won't do it.) TAB is like an on/off switch between the two different screens. FYI, I wouldn't expect a response. You've replied to a topic that is two years old, so the problem is probably long resolved. Anyway, the OP hasn't been around for a year. Wilus Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 Thanks. "Probably solved" could be the case. I replied because no one gave a sufficient answer. That said - I reasoned it can't hurt to leave an answer for the next person. walt.farrell and MacroByMarit 2 Quote
