paolo111 Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 All of my menu's decided to disappear this afternoon, I managed to get most of them back but can't seem to get back one of the menu's; the one with layers, opacity, effects, etc. I know there has to be a way to get it back I just can't figure out what it is. Old Bruce Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 I think that there is a language issue your menus are showing but not your Studio Panels. Go to View > Studio > Reset Studio. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
jmwellborn Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 @paolo111 Have you tried VIEW>Studio>Layers and be sure that there is a check mark before the word Layers? That should add your Layers panel back. Also, your screen shot looks as though all of the panels are gone. Did you try VIEW>Studio then scroll down to the bottom of that window and click on RESET STUDIO? Hopefully this will help. walt.farrell Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 Also, you're missing the Context Toolbar (View > Show Context Toolbar). LeoPoo Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 I just bought Affinity Designer a few days ago and exactly same thing happened to me. I re-installed the software but no change. But getting clues from the replies here, after resetting Studio, I checked View->Show Context Toolbar, as well as -> Show Toolbar, -> Show Tools. I needed to check all of these for the toolbar on the left, top and right to reappear (one by one). It must be a software glitch as the screen went black abruptly while I was using it. Quote
msimon2310 Posted July 13, 2021 Posted July 13, 2021 I am having the same issue but only on a new build PC. It is an i7_11700K and I am using the built in UHD graphics. On this computer when I mouse over a Menu item or other function it DISAPPEARS !!! If I mouse over again it returns. This does NOT happen on ANY OTHER PROGRAM only Affinity Photo. I use Pinnacle Studio; Office and about a hundred other applications and they all work fine. I have tried numerous changes including re-installing the 11700K graphics drivers but nothing fixes the issue.... The issue does not occur on a i7-7820X machine. Both running 1.9.2.1035 Very hard to use this way !!! Quote

Please review the known issues caused by third-party software: Several users have reported problems recently with Asus Sonic and/or MIS Nahimic or similar applications.
