Need help with Night Shots

Hello all, I have a lot of photos like this one.  I have played around with it a bit but can't seem to get it right...maybe it's already as good as it's going to get.  Anyway I would love others to have atry and let me know what you did.

This is one of those images that as hard as you try it won't get better. I'd call this a doodle image to see what effects I can come up with.

Andrew, getting the right look for a photo very much depends on what you mean by “right”.
Your definition of "right" for a specific image might not be the same as mine or anyone else's.
These two samples were quickly made with Look-up Tables (LUTs).
Specifically I used “Folger 50” and “Pitaya 15” from RocketStock.com
No skill needed – luckily for me – so just keep trying some until you find one you like.

Agreed - for me, the original picture (with a bit of sharpening) is the best of the bunch.
