Photosbyduenas
I purchased affinity photo for my MacBook Pro about a year ago but no longer have the computer, I would like to know if it’s possible to transfer license to my new windows computer or if there is a discount to purchase new license for windows os. Staff SFurniss Posted December 4, 2019 Staff Share Posted December 4, 2019 You need to buy a separate Windows version to install on Windows or a Mac version to install on the Mac. Each version is purchased independently and each has its own licenses. It is not possible to swap from one to the other. We are however currently offering 30% off on all orders via our website if you are wanting to buy a Windows license

However, I want to purchase the download and start editing now. How long will the 30% off offer be offered? I'm trying to decide if I will be able to get the discount whenever I get my iPad and have to download the Mac version.
emmrecs01
@melaninfleaux Welcome to the Affinity forums. Please note, I am not a Serif staff member and nor do I own an iPad but my understanding of the situation you are asking about is this: the iPad version of any of the Affinity apps is not the same version as that used on any Mac computer (there are three OS versions, Windows, Mac and iOS). For an iPad you will need to access the iPad store from your iPad and buy and download the app(s) direct to your tablet. As I understand it, there is no way to buy and download the files to any machine other than the iPad it is intended for. So you will have to pay whatever is the price at the time you are able to actually download and install it. HTH Jeff Quote Win 10 Pro, i7 6700K, 32Gb RAM, NVidia GTX1660 Ti and Intel HD530 Graphics Long-time user of Serif products, chiefly PagePlus and PhotoPlus, but also WebPlus, CraftArtistProfessional and DrawPlus. Delighted to be using Affinity Designer, Photo, and now Publisher, version 1 and now version 2. iPad Pro (12.9") (iOS 17.4) running Affinity Photo and Designer version 1 and all three version 2 apps.
