Hello!

I am working with two monitors (the second is a graphics tablet). When I have a windows on the second monitor and I minimize the picture is black when maximize again. I tried to zoom in, out, move it, but the windows stays black until I move the window (I am using it maximized) and maximize it again.

  •    Affinity Photo: 1.7.3.481
  •    What is your operating system and version : Windows 8.1 with latest patches
  •    What happened for you : After a minimization and a following maximization all windows on the second moitor stay black
  •    Provide a recipe for creating the problem (step-by-step what you did):
    • I moved a drawing window to the second screen
    • I minized Affinity Photo
    • I maximized Affinity Photo
    • The second Screen is black. I can't zoom or move the content
    • To solve the problem I double click on the window's top bar. Content is shown again and I can maximize it again.
  •    Screenshots (very handy) or a screen capture/video: Attached
  •    Any unusual hardware (like tablets or external monitors or drives that may affect things) or relevant other applications like font managers or display managers: Two Monitors, Asus 4k and a Gamon 2k Tablet
  •    Did this same thing used to work and if so have you changed anything recently? (software or hardware): No, it never worked, even not with previous versions

Thanks,

Ushur

I don't have a tablet, and both of my monitors are 1920 x 1080 px, but I can produce a very similar issue.

My recipe is as follows

1. Open Affinity Photo on the main monitor (Monitor 1)

2. Open an image

3. Drag the viewing window of Affinity Photo only across to monitor 2, leaving the rest of Affinity Photo on monitor 1

4. Maximise the window on monitor 2

5. Minimise Affinity Photo on Monitor 1

Note that the window on monitor 2 will also minimise, and that the Affinity Photo icon is only on the task bar of monitor 1.

6. Click on the Affinity Photo icon on the task bar of monitor 1.

Note that the Affinity Photo app opens on Monitor 1, and the Affinity Photo view window opens on Monitor 2, but with no image.

Note also that an Affinity Photo icon also appears on the monitor 2 task bar.

7. Click on the Affinity Photo icon on the monitor 2 task bar.

Note that the Affinity Photo view window closes on Monitor 2, and the icon remains on the task bar of monitor 2.

8. Click on the Affinity Photo icon on the task bar of monitor 2.

The Affinity Photo view window reopens on monitor 2 but this time with the image showing.

This seems rather unusual behaviour to me.
