Affinity Designer -- permission request, Catalina

Recommended Posts

Curious about this Screen Recording permission request. It popped up when I chose the Color Studio color picker and closed itself when I started sampling.

(Update: Request added to Privacy panel.)

This is fine, affinity doesn't record the screen it requires access for the colour picker. The colour picker has to sample the screen at the point you choose  to "record" the colour at that point.

FWIW, there was another topic asking about this & one of the staff explained that if you do not allow screen recording access to your Affinity apps, the picker should still work, but only in the app window, not elsewhere on the screen.
