Interior Book Design Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 So, what I did is: I applied Masterspread A to page 4 and Masterspread B to page 5. I changed the margin in Master B, just in Master B. (by rightclicking on Master B and choosing Spread Properties. On spread 4/5, the baseline grid is not displayed, correctly. It still is the baseline grid from Master A. On the next pages, baseline grid is displayed, correctly. How to heal the situation? Changing the Margin in Master A, accordingly. BTW: There should be a button displaying all the Masters on the pages the way you can see in my screen shot. It is very cumbersome to mousover the spreads and decipher a tooltip. Why not taking PagePlus as a role model? Quote
VolkerMB Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Hi! There are two baseline grids available in AFPub: one at the page level and the other one at the text frame level. In order to get your text aligned with the baseline grid here you need to set one for the text frame (you'll find the button in the context menu bar). See screenshot below. Cheers, Volker Quote
Interior Book Design Posted October 27, 2019 Author Posted October 27, 2019 Volker, it's a handy feature, a baseline grid on text frame level. This was not my point, however. In the screenshot above, I haven't used the baseline grid on text frame level, just the "general baseline grid". Quote
VolkerMB Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Hi! That is even easier to archieve: Just set "Snap to baseline grid" (in the snapping options, see screenshot below). Best, Volker Quote
Staff Pauls Posted October 29, 2019 Staff Posted October 29, 2019 We need to cater for this situation - I've logged an issue Quote
