3DJ Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Hi, When I paste text that I copied from a browser into Designer on iPad, I get a color behind the text that I can not find a way to either turn off or change the format . I know CSS within a website can accommodate this and may be the problem, but there must be a way to get rid of this solid background color from behind the type???? Thanks, Jim Quote
Alfred Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Create a separate piece of text in AD and copy it via the ‘Copy’ option on the Edit (‘...’) menu. Select the pasted text and choose ‘Edit > Paste Style’. 3DJ Posted October 27, 2019 Author Posted October 27, 2019 Thank you, I have done this before, it works great. I just forgot about. Still wonder why this happens, it would seem there’s a way to have this not happen, like a paste without style. Quote

This feature has been requested in iPad ui too but as we have seen, fixes and improvements like this can take a while to appear. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
