  1. Looking for help... I'm still learning how to use Affinity Designer and am taking online classes. The task is to take 2 objects and merge them into 1 object by using the Add feature under Operations. For some reason it's not working. The toolbar items are not grayed out before I select my 2 objects and when I try to click the button, nothing is happening. I also cannot seem to customize my toolbar... that option is grayed out. Any ideas??
  2. I have a script with several letters that I need to combine and then stroke, I must combine them or else the stroke is overlapping other letters and does not achieve the desired effect. The problem I am having when Combining or Adding from the OPERATIONS tools the center of the Loops in the letters aren't being knocked out, except for the "o" in the word "Lord". I am stuck and I can not figure out what I am doing wrong. Please Help :-) Thank You! Please take a look at the screenshots below...
  3. In this short tutorial I demonstrate the Geometry operations (add, subtract, intersect, divide, combine) in Affinity Designer 1.6.0 (destructively and non-destructively) with some samples. Keep on drawin' Norbert
  4. Maybe it is not quite a bug but should be improved. Try my example file. Cheers :) . add_objects.afdesign
  5. When doing operations, please keep the layer name of the bottom layer. Currently all names are lost.
  6. Just had quite a few questions about making boolean operations non destructive as we included it in the feature video. It's just a question of holding alt when you apply the operation, as shown here:
