Hi @Antoine_neth,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble!
Please ensure you are still holding down the left-click on your mouse whilst drawing the image/text frames, then press the arrow keys on your keyboard with the left-click held.
Letting go of the left mouse click creates the object, and therefore the keyboard arrows will then 'nudge' this object and not duplicate it.

Thank you, for this advice. My first impression is that now things work well. Only the size of the cursor / circle by impainting still varies, but I can live with that.

Till now I used Pageplus, where I can define the number of rows, columns, the column gap et cetera. I was dissapointed that these options are not there in Affinity Publisher. So far, that's my only remark. Publisher is very nice to work with.
