Sorry if I'm asking a question that has already been answered here somewhere. My problem is that both of the above applications (Designer and Publisher) crash when I use the "ungroup" option.

After updating tot the 1971 beta Affinity Publisher crashes consequently when I use "replace image" How can I get back tot the previous version effeciently?

Thank you again. Sorry, but one more question from this layman: Can I just copy (all) the propcol files tot the same directory in the new version of the app? Or can I than disturb / (or do harm to) the app?

In the enclosed screendump you can see the place and the content of the directory. Can you please tell me how and where to place the correct files (not all I suppose) in my system? After recently upgrading the Affinity suite from version 1. to 2.0 I had to add the Dutch dictionary again. Not a big problem, but... soon I found out that all adjustments (learn or ignore spelling) in my existing text files were gone. It took hours to restore all my existing text files. Today I installed the beta version 2.1 of the Suite and lost all my customizations again! Is this a flaw in this app or did I miss any instructions on this subject? (This doesn't make me happy to say the least!)

Question: I use Windows 10. Your instruction video on what's new in 2.0 explanes how to replicate image frames (time 13:40 in the video). However using the next or down key does not lead to duplication. Where do I go wrong?

After the latest upgrade working with Affinity Photo feels as if my system is too slow to work with a large file. However I work with normal size photo's in a low resolution. By using "inpainting" the size of the cursor/circle varies constantly. The cursor does not move fluently anymore.

Using Publisher 1.10 I could not save my document after some minor changes (place and text of photo captions). Although I was asked to store the document to a new file, that also did not work because of "an internal error". Maybe I discovered a bug due to your latest upgrade??

In an earlier version of Publisher I gave a (gradient) colour background to a picture frame and placed a partly transparent picture in the frame. (a .png portrait without background) The background than appeared as expected. I now try this again, but the background stays white. Where did I go wrong? (I took a frame I made earlier and it just worked - I could even change the colour etc - . But when I make the frame from scratch it does not)

In Affinity Publisher I use a spelling checker for Dutch language. Completely at random words that are spelled wrong are marked with red (like they should be!) or they get NOT marked at all (false). Possibly it is not "at random"..... but can than anybody here tell me what goes wrong if the spelling checker gives no red "underscore" and the mistake is only mentioned in the "pre flight" screen? Thanks in advance!

According tot the help function I have placed the following files in the directory ProgramData>Affinity>common> 1.0>dictionaries: hyph_nl_NL ( 3.117 Kb) nl.NL.aff (344 Kb) nl_NL (63 Kb) Nothing happened. No language control. Does anybody here know what went wrong?

Sorry, You are right. The issue here was that so far I started the Beta version, while you introduced a new icon on my desktop. please have a little leniency with a 70 year old layman ... :-)
