    @Alexey Adamitsky

    I may have solved my issue. I have a Gigabyte Designare Motherboard. It was on Bios f4 and I updated it to f8. There is an f9b but it's in beta. This seemed to improve if not eliminate the problem. It seems like the resize issue is largely gone. But if I keep grabbing the edge and swirl it around for awhile it starts to slow down. But it takes longer for the slow up to occur. And if I pause a sec before swirling the corner again, it's back to normal.

    Mine is 2560x1440.
    I experience the issue across both Designer and Photo apps.

    A2Ax7QHthT.mp4 Even properties sliders in adjustment layers have delays. It makes apps feel sluggish and slow. Not a great expirience.

    It may be, but I'm not convinced yet. The fact that I am the only one who reported it doesn't say much yet. If it's a rather unique issues it might be just the case that there are people who observes it but isn't bothered by it. Even less so have time or desire to report it on the forums. I don't think Affinity's userbase is big enough yet to report all the smaller issues on a variety of hardware options.
    At this point I can help by providing all the request info to help developers if they want to figure it out. Other than that I don't see how I can debug the veiwport behavior in a closed commercial software I relatively recently began to use.
    I have a hunch it might have something to do how Designer updates/renders viewport but other than that I have no idea what can cause it on a software level. I doubt it's my system although I don't exclude it. It's been very stable for a long time.

    JDWrightBrain got a reaction from Jowday in Expanding Strokes Issue
    Strokes expand in unexpected ways. I attached an example to show the issue. I've colored the strokes in dark red to illustrate the problem. When I select the strokes and go to "Layers" and choose "Covert to Curves" I get all of these extra loops at the ends. These strokes were copied and pasted from a larger piece of art and they behaved the same way in the new document. New strokes drawn in a New document DO NOT behave the same way. I first noticed this when I created a PDF from a piece of artwork and the strokes were expanded in the process. I attached the PDF as well.

    I am using Affinity Designer 1.8 - downloaded on 2/27.

    I want to make a update. This bug seems to have been squashed in the latest update to the Beta I downloaded today.

    I was on 1.7.0.3

    I am NOW on 1.7.0.4

    The bug is dead. Hooray!!!

    JDWrightBrain got a reaction from Grok in Request - Bleed Guidlines
    Hello,

    I'm impressed with the development so far, but I have a request regarding the document bleed settings. I would really like to see a guideline pop up within the document showing where your bleeds are. It would definitely help me in planning my layouts.  and maybe an option to convert lines to guides for if I needed to set up a dieline on a shape that is not rectangular.

    More print production tools in general would be nice - separation preview to determine percentages of ink coverage, and so on.

    Thanks
