nmds reacted to sb101 in how to disable export preview?
I don't really need the cpu extra processing. so I thought there must be an option.
eg exporting w=10800 px it takes too long anyway and
cpu goes up to 100% loosing that for other bg rendering tasks.
so an simple on/off switch would be welcome, eg. even remembering the export format (what is useful for eg gif isn't for large images).
    thx,

nmds reacted to Steven Westmoreland in iOS App Icon Template
If you're designing an iOS app icon, you can use this template to export the 18 different icon sizes required by Apple named according to Apple’s guidelines. To get started, edit the Icon symbol on the App Icon layer. When you are ready to export, switch to the Export Persona and click the Export Slices button. Make sure to disable  the mask layers before you export – icons should be exported as square images.

You can download the latest version on my website. Thanks for looking!

Automated import of footnotes or endnotes is absolutely crucial in publishing.
I would welcome this feature in Affinity Publisher rather sooner than later!

One thing... wouldn't better to use the traditional CMD + D to duplicate any element? CMD + J must be used (at least for me) with the two hands so I must stop using meanwhile the mouse...

And a context menu into the layer's panel would be great... with that function too in order to duplicate any layer.

nmds reacted to iaing in Overflowing Text Frames
Just a thought until there is a preflight panel  - in terms of tracking down the culprit text-frames, if you do 'view > zoom > zoom to document' - no matter how many pages you have, you will zoom out to see thumbnails of all pages at once - the little red alert dots do NOT scale down with the thumbnail, so it's really easy to spy which page(s) have overflowing text (assuming as above, that you have 'show text flow' enabled and are not in preview mode)

nmds got a reaction from benjaminduall in BUG. Grids move when scrolling
Same behaviour in Publisher Beta 1.7.0.337
I found out that setting the grid type to "two axis custom" and setting the "second axis angle" to -90 seems to fix it.

Bug still in latest Beta (.312)
Horizontal gridlines don't stay put when scrolling. Only happens with non-uniform grids.
    Thank you for fixing.

nmds reacted to oleolo in Suggestion: Command-click in title bar to show path
    Hi,
first of all: Publisher looks great. I had unexpected success opening InDesign-created PDFs and finding everything in place and editable. Makes moving from ID much easier.
One thing I just missed and wanted to tell you about is:
It would be nice if command-clicking on the documents name in the title bar would show the documents path. As Preview.app does for example. See attached screenshot.
Releasing the mouse on one of the folders should open that folder.

We will be able to import InDesign IDML files but not .indd files. The feature is being written but we don't have a timescale yet.
