Got a refund .

I followed the tutorials exactly , especially the masking ones , no matter what settings I use all my cutouts from various images with very clean backgrounds looked horrible. Maybe there is an issue with my older iMac or it's just something else I am doing wrong , but couldn't get it to work and spent many hours trying different combinations of settings, ended up going into Photoshop and doing the images .

where do you go in the mac app store to request a refund?

where do you get a refund on mac app store , I cant find it anywhere. Really tried to use this software, but keep having to go back to photoshop.

just tried on anothe set of images & its the same. Really not happening with this software

it doesnt look anything like the blurred mess when you are actually using the tool. it appears to select amazingly well, its only when you click apply that it goes all blurry

here is the settings used.. side question, how do tyou remove fringing on masked hair & edges ?

please help. there are no edits at all to the image , no plugins nothing. fresh copy of affinity installed really blurry edges when using matte brush

tried again on another image.... i even reduced the matte brush to 10px. apply as a new layer with mask still the same

hi there, not used any other filters , just a photo imported into affinity, made a quick selection using the brush then used the matte brushes around the edges like it said in the tutorial on site. never changed any settings. it looks great on the preview then when i select apply it goes all blurry like the attached image Unfortunately i had to go back into photoshop to complete this

what causes this.. its frustrating? I know i am a total noob to this serif software. I love the way it can find ad refine the edges... looks great, but when i press apply to layer with mask etc.. it looks like the attached photo.

when i try to copy a photo from one open document to another, nothing happens... sometimes a new layer appears that says background, but the photo doesnt copy. Whats happening?

decontaminate colours on refine tool it needs this ( well i do ;) )

hi, I am masking out green screens. What is a good way to remove the green halo around edge of mask? I know PS has decontaminate which is pretty decent, whats the prefferred method of doing this in affinity? Can you brush in desauration ?

how do you select the eye dropper i have clicked on the one at right all i want to do is select a colour from my photo and use brush to brush that colour
