  1. Seems both colour picker and auto apply to brush are not working. I follow the steps in help but brush remains black. Can use the colour wheel to change colour but not an ideal workaround. Bug report has been made (according to earlier posts) so hopefully an update will be available before too long. Perhaps Moderators could confirm this issue is being looked at and indicate whether we might see a fix this side of Xmas. cheers
  2. Odd, I thought it would not download if the device was not compatible. If you have bought it then you can load it on your new iPad when you get it, without a problem.
  3. Any friends nearby with an iPad. Sign in with your store I’d on their device and it will be available to you when you get your new device.
  4. On iPad. Once you are connected to the MPWP, use MyCloud app to navigate to the required image. Tap the top right hand corner and select open in AP. When finished in AP, use Share button on AP home screen and select copy to MyCloud.
  5. Thanks Lee. I wasn’t aware that the inpainting tool could infill blank areas of the canvas. Must give it a try. Great app by the way, and the iPad tutorials are extremely helpful. The only (small) criticism I have with the tunes is that sometimes it is difficult to 'see' exactly what menu item or action has been selected. Trial and error works it out.
  6. 31 at last count.... I find they cover most requirements. You may need to pause/replay a few times while trying it out in AP. check out no 10 - selection refinement. It covers what you are enquiring about. And yes, the desktop version is a separate purchase. I don't think it would be a great help to you for learning the iPad version. Too many differences between the two.
  7. Hi, As the heading suggests, when editing panorama in iPad, there does not seem to be an 'inpaint missing area' tool. In the examples shown, their is a magnifying glass ? icon above the panorama window. Is this only available in the desktop version. is their any way to inpaint the missing areas in the iPad version? If not, is this feature likely to be included at any later date?
  8. I think the issue may lay with the MyCloud app. It does not take advantage of iOS 11 split screen functionality. This means no drag and drop from other apps. Perhaps WD will get around to updating their app to take better advantage of iOS 11, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting Importing from MPP to AP Importing and Exporting using the My Wireless Pro My Coud app. Importing from MPP Connect iPad to MPP wirelessly. Open MyCloud app. Navigate in MyCloud to desired photo and then tap the square with the upward arrow icon (top right corner), then select 'Open in AP'. Exporting from AP to MPP. On home screen in AP tap the 3 bars at bottom right corner of pic. Choose Export and desired export format, then tap Share icon in Bottom left corner and select Copy to MPP. No data used.
  9. I have found the iPad tutorials to be very helpful. Perhaps you could work through those as they cover many of the basic and advanced features of AP on the iPad.
  10. Interesting. I wonder what change exporting to iCloud does? If raw compression handling is an iOS issue how does Snapseed handle it? Maybe something for AP devs to look into.
  11. Do you mean how to open a jpg file stored on camera roll in Affinity Photo? In AP, press the + sign with the circle around it, and in next screen select 'import from photos'. Or open AP and camera roll side by side. Press and select photo(s) from camera roll and drag into AP. If you create a Folder in AP first, you can drag and drop straight into the folder.
  12. @ Dave2017 when you say Photos, are you referring to the camera roll? I use an app called Documents on my iPad to access my PC (wireless network) and copy files to the iPad. Once in Documents, I can select the photo file and 'share' it with Affinity Photo or move the file directly to the camera roll and access it that way in AP I’m fairly sure that mail attachments can also be opened in Documents app and then moved to camera roll or copied to Affinity Photo. I Just tested this workflow and it worked fine. Sent myself a photo in mail then opened it in Documents then moved it to the camera roll. Also shared it fromDocuments to AffinityPhoto and then used AP to save it back to camera roll. Both methods worked. Would that workflow work for you? From memory Readdle Documents is a free app. A simpler method? with iOS 11.03 and iPad Pro. Open Mail app and Files App side by side. Drag image from Mail into Files app Affinity Photos folder. EDIT. Sorry, not correct. The folder I had showing in Files App was the Readdle Documents folder that I had used to store photos, not AP folder (which doesn’t show in Files). Maybe the devs can add that feature?
