  1. +1 for this, Everytime I come back to Affinity I'm surprise to not found it, it a feature so handy.
  2. Good news, THX! not sure if it was publicly reported already, so having this documented here for now might help other people in troubles. Cheers !
  3. as Explained in the related thread, having keyboard shortcut assigned to macros was the way I quickly colorize comic strip in Photoshop. The workflow was efficient and even has been promoted on Envato. My workflow can be replicated because of the lack of keyboard shortcut for macros. 😥 Thank for your consideration !
  4. +1 for this In 2010 I wrote an article for Envato about using Macros to quickly colorize comic strip using Macros with keyboard shortcut in Photoshop https://design.tutsplus.com/tutorials/quick-tip-colorize-a-comic-strip-with-photoshop--psd-9100 It's unfortunate that this can't be replicate in Affinity, because of the lack of assignable keyboard shortcut to Macros.
  5. I forgot to tell but I'm on Azerty, the common French keyboard layout
  6. Hi, On Affinity Keyboard shortcut doc we can see: Increase/decrease brush width ] [ To acces brackets on Windows, we have to press [CTRL+ALT] + ( and [CTRL+ALT] + ° (on the top row numbers) This doesn't increase or decrease brushsize. I tried to customize into preference, but if realized that if I press open parenthesis key on top row (, then it will input "5" instead. Problem is that ( will not trigger the associated keyboard shortcut, only the 5 on the right numerical keypad (not the key I pressed for entering the keyboard shortcut). In essence, in means that top keys doesn't work as custom keyboard shortcut on windows, as they are converted to number at input, on number are only triggered by the numerical keypad instead. Affinity 2.4.2, Win 10 X64 Thanks for your support!
  7. Oh yes we definitely a mouse modifier for adjust cropping area from center, symmetrically. Here how it works in other softwares (Photoshop, but not the only one): Very handy to handle symmetrical images (also photo for sure) Thanks for your consideration!
  8. I have requested Randomize transform for VectorStyler and it was implemented in one day.... !! https://www.vectorstyler.com/forum/topic/1278/fr-randomization-for-layers-transform-properties-and-colors/5
  9. Note: this opens nicely in VectorStyler (if you need another app to try).
  10. It seems that VectoStyler save percentage property ! Small bug with text layer for now but you get the idea Because it save percentage of transformation, reset to 1:1 is as easy as setting 100% in the transform box.
  11. This can be done in VectorStyler with Spacebar key: Would be nice to have it in Affinity Designer as well...
  12. I stomp other this issue again and forgot it wasn't implemented Any attention on this would be very appreciated !
  13. @KalIn fact, none of the axis have snapping to guide line with slice tool: It only snap to document edges and mid points, and other slices.
  14. @KaiIt snaps horizontally (on vertical guides) but not vertically (on horizontal guide). I have all check in Snapping options.
  15. Snap grid doesn't seems to be able to snap horizontal custom markers lines (sorry don't know the english nomenclature) This is highly expected, it kinda break the flow to have to google for such things which are expected out of the box! THX!
  16. Workarround: converting the SVG to EPS seems to works well. But a fix would be appreciated for sure.
  17. @GarryPi Good bug hunting! I have edit thread title and first post accordingly.
  18. +1 please ! Even a simple Filter layer by name field would allow saving tons of time. I have to look for all layers with name rect_ID where ID was a random number, the current Select object by name function couldn't be used. :S
  19. Original title : SVG with shape croping doesn't open right Hi, I'm not sure my thread title is the correct terminology, but the bug is simple to reproduce, so it might lead to the real source of the issue. So there is this SVG design here: Unfortunately, it doesn't right in Affinity Designer (1.11) The left shape contains several cropping and this doesn't get displayed as expected. Note that FireFox displays it just right, and Illustrator open it right as well. Thanks for taking a look! EDIT: croping doesn't seems to be the issue but transform SVG seems to be (check discussion below). Thread renamed accordingly.
  20. Second video is out, still made with Affinity Designer ! My FR are the same, though I found other issue while working: The need for Live Filter in Affinity designer (mostly, pesperctive) The need for free transform tool Ways to resccale text or layer to 1:1 Would be nice to have updates on this ! Best,
  21. Thanks for the vid. Indeed it requires position and aligments manually. But If you have also to redo font and all paragraph settings of a multi lines pragraph with different formats, custom spacement etc, it will be tedious. It will only be usable on simple cases.
