  1. I have being using a bit the app Sketch and there are a few little more things I would find interesting AD to have or to think about implementing anyhow.

A separate zoom in / zoom out button (always accessible)... or behaviour... so can be zoomed in and out without contextual menu.

Folders... on the layer's panel...(with their own recognizable icon) which are no more mistaken with simple layers.

    Grid personalization and settings.

    Ruler's options...

And ... why not... presets.... I mean... being able to set the default forder where the proyects are open, and where the proyects are saved... as well as ... the default folder where the (possible) templates are contain... :) ...all this can save tons of time! :) and make the AD user experience much pleasant because this way we (the users) can focus on the real important, our projects. :P

  2. One thing... wouldn't better to use the traditional CMD + D to duplicate any element? CMD + J must be used (at least for me) with the two hands so I must stop using meanwhile the mouse...

And a context menu into the layer's panel would be great... with that function too in order to duplicate any layer.

  3. Automatic font categorization would be excellent (a superfeature!). Possibly just for (1) serif, (2) sans, (3) script, (4) exotic. At least for Mac pre-installed fonts. 'Automatic' meaning the user wouldn't have to create the collections himself, one by one. But AD would take care of it itself.

I do prefer (a priori) having my own collections but could be an additional option.

  4. Yes, a kind of that, watch the following video.

... marquee backwards maybe it's strange at the beggining but it's all a question of time and use to become a natural way of selecting.

and here another ways of selecting in Autocad, just to make you think about the possiblities :)

    Thanks for considering it. :)

  5. Thanks for this great tutorial... simple tools but very useful to know.

For selecting objects on the window without having to totally put them into the selection window I personally prefer the Autocad's behaviour. (Not been in need of using the Ctrl key as the tutorial shows)

It's so... when you create that "window" starting from the top to the bottom side, the program selects all the object that are totally inside the window.

When you create the "window" from the bottom side to the top, the program selects all the objects that the window it's "touching" as well as the totally included on it.

Of course, these behaviours could be combined with the ALT key to avoid selecting the background (I love it!)

    Here's explained:

Now i've found where i posted this for the first time.
