  1. I've been using an XP-Pen Deco Pro (Gen 2) for a few weeks now as a replacement for an ageing Wacom Intuos graphics tablet and I'm very satisfied. But generally speaking, all graphics tablets that offer Windows and MacOS driver support also work with the Affinity programmes.
  2. Olá e bem-vindo ao fórum, Para além dos tablets Microsoft Surface e de um da DELL, não tenho conhecimento de outros fabricantes que produzam tablets Windows. E pode obter três bons computadores portáteis pelo preço de um MS Surface.
  3. I'm a non-smoker, but when I read this post I laughed out loud and my cigar fell out of my mouth. 🤣
  4. As mentioned in a previous post, there may be a routing issue between your provider and Amazon Web Services.
  5. That's how it fits now - like a pair of handmade lace-up shoes. 👍😜
  6. The orange lettering is (for me) difficult to read. As an alternative, I would use white and bold. And in Twisted Fates, the E, A and T don't stand out enough from the background. I think a border, for the two words, of 2 pixels in the color of IT would make the text stand out better.
  7. For my taste, the three new characters are too much of a good thing. If you add text now, I think it will be too restless. Sometimes less is more!
  8. Hi again. Affinity Photo cannot read all variations of the HEIF format. The HIF format can save several image files (sequence) and their metadata in one file. This isn't supported yet. On MacOS you can use Apple Prewie to convert the files into the HEIF format supported by Affinity Photo (File > Export).
  9. Hello @Harry Baloney and welcome to the forums. I can only tell for Windows. If you installed the MSI/EXE versions of the programmes press Windows key + R then type or copy&paste %appdata%\affinity\common\2.0\user\ For the MSIX installations press Windows key + R then type or copy&paste shell:UsersFilesFolder\.affinity\common\2.0\user\
  10. Hi @Steffix and welcome to the forums. Affinity Photo uses the data from the LensFun project. If the lens is not listed, you should submit a request to the LensFun project. https://lensfun.github.io/calibration/
  11. Hello and welcome to the forums, @sdaniel693 Which camera model do you use?
  12. Hi @Contendersgraphics Is the font that the PDF file uses installed on your computer? If Publisher cannot find a suitable font on your computer, a similar replacement font will be used. If the font is displayed correctly in the PDF but not in Publisher, it is probably only the glyphs that are embedded.
  13. In fact, she only sells things for Procreate on her website and her courses are all designed for Procreate. If you want to spend money again, you can buy the 3D Letters Masterclass. 😦 https://academy.aureliemaron.com/3d-letters-masterclass
  14. The toolkit, like all other things offered in the Serif Store, requires a certain amount of basic knowledge and creativity. I find the title of the toolkit a little misleading, as the brushes, color palettes and textures it contains can also be used for other painting and design tasks. EDIT: Perhaps the creator of the toolkit will be persuaded to create an Affinity Spotlight article.
  15. Hi @DanielaD and welcome to the forums. Have you activated the left studio?
  16. There is no training program for this toolkit here. Perhaps the website of the content creator will help you. https://academy.aureliemaron.com/lettering-lounge
  17. However, this does not work with multi-line, sorry, multi-column text!
  18. These languages lack the option of writing from top to bottom.
  19. I don't think there will be fully-fledged web apps. But it will certainly incorporate some of the rudimentary functions of the Affinity Suite. And as far as Linux (Wine) support is concerned, I wouldn't get my hopes up for the time being. There are enough development priorities that have priority here. Above all, the stability of the programs, RTL and CJK support (with possible extended localization), to name some. However, the development roadmap may be different!
