1drey got a reaction from tRoglet in Developing persona - please make it 360° seam aware
    HI all,

I often face the need to convert 32bit 360° panoramic image, created with the aid of stitching  software, into tone mapped 16bit image. Affinity Photo does a decent job performing this task, but it always creates the seam, clearly visible when edited panorama is displayed in 360° viewer. It is really disappointing. Yes, there is a workaround  - to duplicate the source panorama, offset it (wrapping around), make identical development, put it as a layer over first development (ofsetted after development) and use respective area from the second development to cover the seam.  But it is time consuming

Same for the tonemap persona. Editing with  it creates even more visible seam and sometimes a tiny, but noticeable 'vortex' around zenith and nadir points.

I hope it is relatively easy to implement.

Please, please, please can we have this feature in AP?
It is literally the only thing that is stopping me from ditching Adobe and switching my workflow to AP/AD. I utilise the feature a hell of a lot when creating technical illustrations in PS and there really is no workaround in AP that is even close to being suitable.
    Pretty please... :)

1drey got a reaction from Fixx in Selection based on tonal range - any possibility to fine tune?
In PS I often use selections based on tonal range for exposure blending and other fine corrections.

AP allows making of tone-based selections, but it offers only three ranges, which are pretty harsh and rarely hit the precise range that I need. Combining it with blending options somewhat helps, but not quite.

My question is: is it possible to edit the tonal range used for selection? And (ideally) visually - like in PS and it's luminosity masks?

That would be extremely valuable option, use this approach very often in PS

Hi all, and Serif's moderator MEB.

Firstly I'd like to reiterate the need for selective colour control w/fine tuning capabilities.

Secondly, my suggestion is further to PS's capability in this sphere, namely: the tools to mask a selective range (eg the yellows/oranges of sunflowers) using a colour picker & range slider (to widen or narrow the colour mask's selection range); and, thereafter, fine tune (say) yellows etc by affecting their complimentary colours (eg blues etc), via desaturation of the highlights&midtones - but only within the selected colour range mask - using (crucially) curves, as well as optional sliders, to effect this example of full tonal control.

The mask allows other yellows/oranges in the photo to be masked/brushed out, and so left unaffected by the adjustments.

I should note I've been taught how to do this on PS, and have been looking to achieve the same with A4iPad - which lead me to this feature request.

    kindest regards... M

1drey got a reaction from Krustysimplex in Blend range - other arguments in addition to luminosity + some extra funtionality
I just love power of Blend options tool, but think that it can be boosted even further.

Adding an option to select not only luminosity as the argument and not only R, G or B will be a major boost.
Ideally it  should be defined on HSL space (or, even better, on a wide range of color spaces like LAB, CMYK, WRGB etc) - a combination of all three parameters.
It would let the user to apply adjustments very selectively... like adding vibrance to not saturated yellow objects in given brightness range, for instance.

I am sure everyone would love to be able to add a point to the curve with some sort of picker tool

Saving blending curves as presets is a must as well. It is often need to apply identical adjustments to a large set of images and now it turns into sort of guessing game - some variations are just inevitable with current approach.

    Well... the subject :)

I was searching help and online tutorials, but failed to find the definite answer.

If it is not possible, please consider it as a feature reqiuest
