  1. Exactly. This is going to force customers having this issue back to Adobe in iPad. I had to figure out how to remove the fonts all at once from the app. Someone in the forums told me the trick to bulk delete the fonts. Otherwise i would have been confined to Affinity on my desktop. Currently i am only using fonts that i have installed on my iPad as opposed to them being added via the app. I unfortunately must install them as i need them to the ipad.
  2. Shift + click!! That's what I needed!! Thank you!! Finally!! Now to see what happens with fewer fonts.
  3. I installed within Affinity and it doesn’t show how I can bulk delete them. Thanks though.
  4. Which leads to the second part of my comment which was how to do that in bulk. I stated that I don’t see how to do that. Removing one by one will take hours.
  5. I saw that one from September. Comments are closed, so I have restarted the conversation since nothing has changed since then.
  6. Font scrolling is virtually dead. I am currently unable to use the font list at all because it freezes for minutes and when it unfreezes and I scroll, it freezes again. I have tried to find a way to delete all fonts at once, but I don’t see how to do this. I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, but the list of fonts return. Please advise as it is making Affinity Photo unusable and forcing me to turn to Adobe to function.
  7. Was there a fix for this? I'm having this issue on my MacBook, but not on my iMac. Not sure what the issue is. The folders show properly on my iOS as well. Neither Photo or Designer folder will show.
  8. Finally found a fix after exhaustive searching, an uninstall and reinstall and cache clearing. Deleted the Preferences for Affinity/Serif that exist in the "Preferences" folder in "Library." I can now export without a problem. Hope it sticks.
  9. Same. Crashes on export. Just noticed it today. I am on Ventura 13.0 Beta (22A5311f), Apple M1.
  10. Given I no longer use the Apple store version, I no longer have a font issue. But will read the document in hopes of information that has a remedy to this, allowing me to use my Apple store version when I wish to. Unchecking that did not change anything. Still happened. I also did a test in the other apps, Photo and Designer, same issue there. Export is no longer working for me. First time anything like this has happened in all the time I've been using Affinity apps. Odd glitch. Screen record attached. Screen Recording 2022-04-20 at 9.48.26 AM.mov
  11. Monterey 12.3.1. I have both the Apple store version (won't let me save properly fonts) and the download from Affinity website, which is the one I am using currently installed on my MacBook Pro.
  12. Updated Publisher today and now it's not working properly. Keeps freezing and when I finally get it to work, it refuses to export. This issue started immediately after I upgraded to 1.10.5.
  13. Worse. Screen goes completely black with that setting. I need to close out the file, then it is restored. Again note, when I open the app, no problem. It happens only when I open a file, any Affinity file. It does not happen in Designer, nor any other app on my mac. I would do a screen record, but when I do, it records as though everything is normal, rather than what I am actually seeing with my eyes.
  14. I am not sure if it is an issue with the mac software or something glitch-y caused by Affinity Photo. I have contacted Apple as well about the issue. But when I open a file in Affinity Photo app and my screen is on full brightness, the screen changes to a black with lined colors to slightly outline the app and image. I have attached a screenshot. Hard to explain. At first I thought it was an overall issue with the mac, but it seems to only happen when I have Affinity Photo open and have additionally opened a file. It was merely by accident that I discovered it was a brightness thing. I unplugged my mac to go in a low light room to take a picture of the screen. When I unplugged it, the issue went away, so I wasn’t going to be able to take a photo of it. Then it hit me that it might be brightness related. I have my mac set to dim screen when unplugged. so i increased the brightness back to 100% and the issue returned. Turned it down just one level, gone. did it a few times to be sure. Then, oddly, it changed when I returned to mess with Photo. Now, it happens no matter the brightness level. If I quit Affinity Photo, issue goes away as well. Doesn't happen in any other app on my mac.
  15. Yes. Paste app, a clipboard manager. Have been using it on my mac for nearly two years now (along with Affinity and other apps) without incident. What would have suddenly changed? Affinity has been working fine all that time with it…if that is it. Never had a problem in almost two years of using Affinity with it until just a few days ago. Also, only Affinity is having an issue. No other apps on my computer.
  16. I saw the update a little while ago and updated the app. Now it quits EVERY time. Just went to reopen the program and continue my work and now every single time I copy something, it quits automatically.
  17. Periodically when I select anything, a photo, a text box, anything, Affinity Photo will quit as soon as I copy. I must reopen it and recover the file. It has been doing it regularly now; every few minutes if I copy an item to paste elsewhere.
  18. Wait, what? Just found this thread and you JUST taught me I can easily import Assets, something I was going to try today without visiting the boards cause it seemed common sense. I am here because I couldn't figure out how to easily import color palettes. And now you are telling me that something that takes up more space and is a larger file can be imported with ease, but not mere colors? I really came here thinking it was me not finding it. To discover it cannot be done is insane. Wow. I hope they fix this.
  19. Got it. Thanks. That is the one I am on. Stopped launching properly, as I wrote. So I'm stuck. Thanks anyway.
  20. How do I use this beta? It won't load on my MacBook Pro. Says I need a key. But I own all Affinity apps via App Store. Would like to give it a try given that Affinity Photo suddenly stopped working on Big Sur. I was using it today, was adding some swatches, it quit and refused to open again after that. It shuts down each time I open and try to create a new file. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it twice, still shuts down each time I try to use it. Not sure what happened when I was simply adding a swatch color, but there you have it. Was working on Big Sur up until today with the swatch issue.
