In what version we're finally getting the Trace Bitmap? It has been promised before.
Also, I want to request a feature to create a vector shape/path from a selection. Thank you for all the work done, really appreciate all the developers hard work, as a developer/programmer myself.

You would usually find the "glyphs" under edit—>Special Characters.
Unfortunately, this window has been changed with Yosemite and only containg emoticons and some of the special characters / glyphs now.
So … yes, a proper Glyphs window would be great!

Recently in my graphic design class we went over glyphs inside of Adobe Illustrator to adjust the printed text from text boxes. I'd like to see the same or equivalent feature in Affinity Designer.
