  1. A tribute to football comics of my youth. And the football culture of today. And yes, that is Comic Sans. Sue me. Scamp: Final:
  2. @peter - I'm not on Facebook - can you show them for me? I can send you whatever you need D
  3. Adobe have properly screwed up After Effects in the 2015 version. And Flash has always been a mess. There's definitely an opportunity here...
  4. Fun with strokes and blending modes :)
  5. Okay guys and gals, for those of you who requested a bit more detail, here's how the halftones are made and applied. D
  6. Here's a time-lapse of me creating a new comic-style drawing. Mistakes and back-pedalling included. Final result: Authoring file: Enjoy!
  7. That gave me goosebumps a bit! Very cool indeed.
  8. How are those warp/envelope features coming along, by the way? ;) #neversatisfied
  9. I have this nagging idea that it has something to do with existing history - the cholera epidemic, the great stink of 1858, John Snow, Bazalgette and Faraday. I feel like enough nasty crap was dumped into the Thames, cholera victims might start coming back from the dead...
  10. Well here goes: I had to use warp tools in AI to create the masthead. AD's text-on-a-path doesn't quite cut it yet. </confession>
  11. This is stunning. Apparently in the right hands you can do anything with this software!
  12. I'm sure there must be a graphic novel in here somewhere. If I could be arsed. Addendum: Have added in another character study here. Not sure where all this is heading...
  13. Okay I tried this method and it's fine, so long as you don't need to rescale your artwork. If you do, the line weights don't change and therefore your halftone goes a bit screwy.
