rah1861 got a reaction from Ali in Publisher V2 - How to Impose Pages in PDF Export?
I agree that you can do it this way, but you are relying on using a PDF driver to create your PDF. The complaint here is that Affinity Publisher cannot do it using its own Export to PDF. For users like myself and @Ali , who are coming from PagePlus (which did it wonderfully without any need for a driver), this is a big shortcoming of AP. Surely they know this, but are ignoring people's complaints.

rah1861 got a reaction from krisLap in Perspective option for Crop tool
I think this topic is talking about the same trouble I have - I often have to photograph paintings and signs at a museum I volunteer at. It can be difficult to get the camera exactly square to the plane of the painting and exactly in the middle, so often I have to do a little perspective correction in post-processing. Corel Paintshop Pro has a very simple to use tool called "Perspective Correction Tool" where you just drag the corners of the tool's bounding box to the 4 corners that you want to be square and hit enter. Presto, it's done! Easy peasy.
When I tried to use Affinity Photo for this task, it was MUCH more difficult using its obvious tool,  the Perspective Tool. It was much more powerful (it seemed), but hard to use for such a simple task. I think there should be a simplified option of the Perspective tool, or an enhancement of the crop tool would be fine too.

Ok, check in the Preferences>Performance and see if Hardware Acceleration, OpenCL is checked (active). Uncheck it restart and see if you still have this issue.
If you don't want to reinstall the retail 1.9 version, you can install the current Beta version 1.9.1.963 to see if it is fixed. The Beta versions run alongside the retail versions.

No, not as bug. It is a feature of macOS yet, not of Affinity. But how about posting this missing Windows feature at Microsoft ... or in this Affinity forum:

Or why not just start all new project in Affinity Designer, and use PagePlus when needed?
MEB pointed out that "You can export PagePlus projects as PDF or SVG and they should be imported without much loss into Affinity apps."

Topaz Labs has a photoshop-compatible plugin (will run in Affinity Photo) called InFocus:

    http://www.topazlabs.com/infocus

that is supposed to be able to help with a situation like this. You can download it to try it for free, so you could try it and see if it helps. Generally speaking, you cannot fix such shots very well, IMHO, as others have been saying.

Topaz also has a less-specialized, more generally useful plugin called Detail which is dynamite for sharpening/softening. You might try that too:

Just for laughs, I ran the shot thru Topaz Detail (which I own). It is attached. There are A LOT of sliders and options in Detail to fine-tune things, but you cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear (a real shame on such a really nice lightning picture!). Anyway, perhaps InFocus can do a better job (I don't have it myself).

    For the Exposure adjustment...

Highlight the number next to the slider then the up/down arrow keys will work in increments of "1"

For increments of "0.1" hold the shift key when using the up/down arrow keys

Add a new pixel layer on top

    Choose the inpainting brush

Choose the option "sample from below" in the top toolbar

Here is a video about it

    Hi rah1861,
This is an oversight in the Windows version. I've checked it now and it doesn't display the Sources panel automatically as soon as you click the Add Global Source button as in the Mac version. I will log this to be looked at. Thanks for the heads-up.

    @carl123
As far as i know a single click is enough to select the source in the Sources panel. Am i missing something?
