The Warp Tool is okay for text transformation but really isn't the same IMHO as have a warp tool in Designer. Using the Warp tool in AP requires more precision on the part of the designer (very manual process) and results in a slower workflow effort. Really looking forward to a real Text Warp tool in Designer for Vector designs.

I found that immediately after the update, the link was also greyed out for me in photo, to designer. After opening designer, and re opening photo, both links worked. So Hopefully that will be the fix.

Make sure that both apps have been updated to the 1.6 versions and that each of them has been run at least once since they were updated. According to something one of the staff said, this may be necessary to update the internal link that verifies the other app is a compatible version (or words to that effect).

I was working on some social media ads for a client and created a simple template for all major social media ad sizes including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat and Reddit.
This is a simple file with art boards for all your ad designs. It could come in handy next time you need to create a simple promo banner or ad for a client.

Hello everyone,
I've created a Skillshare Class using Affinity Designer, called "Illustration from Pencil to Vector!". I'm planning on creating more classes with this great software, that I now use on a daily basis as a graphic designer.
My class features the creation of a character, from the pencil and paper, to the fast vector tracing and coloring in Affinity.
