I am delighted with the recent new Daub Pigmento brushes which I purchased as an add-on. I am a Corel Painter user for complex stuff, but need to doo more within Painter/Designer and these brushes were an instant hit with me for a couple of things which I achieved very quickly. I attach a couple of pics - both completely done in Affinity Painter. The background for the dog used the brushes (plus I used the lens blur in photo on the background). And then a sky for some collage work I am doing.

I have this morning experimented with the import from PDF, because that is what my stock of production files end up as. It works - which is good, tho I have only tried a few editing examples. So assuming it will all work tikkety-boo, I will be happy with that.

Hey trevdewav,
We've had some feedback regarding this before. It is a little dark, especially on some monitors. I found that knocking the UI Gamma up a bit in Preferences helps but I agree it could do with some attention.
I'll add your feedback to the original reports. Thanks.

Hi,
Fills with identical colour values but different looks between two shapes - one was copied from a pdf that wasn't created with AD (probably AI) and one was created in AD and had the same values put in for fill colour - see attched file.
