What version of affinity photo are you using, (1.6.7 - Release Candidate 1) is the latest beta release.

Are you using the new release candidate 1 of AP? I've not found any issues yet.
Thanks for the video, I was selecting the blemish removal tool and long pressing on the photo and dragging my finger actress the screen. I was using release Candidate 1.

and it could be that it is a beta but this needs to be fixed before IOS 11.3 is out.

Odd, I tested on IOS 11.3 dev beta 2 and on a iPad Pro 10.5 inch and it was very laggy as shown in the video. 8638C233-04B2-4919-8B29-B56185095FB8.MOV

When I use the blemish removal tool the performance is very bad and there is no indication on where I’m touching. Here’s a video showing the bug.

Im using the Apple Pencil mainly, but when I long press and move my finger around 1 mm, while long pressing the taps disappear, I have to keep my finger extremely still to keep the Taps visible.

When I long press it in beta 5, the tips show up for a second then disappear even when I hold my finger right on the "?".

The ? Mark in beta 5 still does not work correctly when I long press on it.

Jacki3.... You can drag and drop images from photos to AF when they are open side by side which achieves same thing.

When I tap the share button in the "Photos" app, I should be able to copy the photo straight into affinity photo.

1.There is no indication that long pressing on the “?” Give you hints on what tool is what. There should be some pop up or some kind of indication telling the user that long pressing pause the hints to appear.

When I try to open a new file The screen will show two of the same cloud options in upper right.

The ability to import brushes or founts by just dragging them onto the app is a feature that is needed.
Example.
1. drag a brush from Files onto affinity Photo and it will directly import the brush.

An sysdiagnose contains the crash log in a very detailed log of what happens right before and after the crash, this may make it easier for the developers to find the bug.

Follow the instructions here Crash_Log_Instructions__iOS.pdf to collect your crash log. To get the console log on your computer, capture a sysdiagnose imeditly after the bug occurs using the instructions here [sysdiagnose] and when the sysdiagnose is done capturing extract the sysdiagnose "these's instructions explain where and how to get the sysdiagnose", when the extraction is done there should be a file inside the new folder called "system_logs.logarchive", get that file and send the Staff a Private message with the log file uploaded into the message and send it to the staff.

When I open the import from iCloud interface in Affinity photo"UIdocumentbrowser" and the click the home button and open the files app and open a photo that is in the Affinity photo folder. When Affinity photo opens it will still be showing the "UIdocumentbrowser", closing the "UIdocumentbrowser" and re-opening Files and trying to open the save photo again opens affinity photo and nothing happens.
IOS 11.1.2 iPad Pro 10.5 inch
Affinity photo (1.6.7 - Beta 1)
1. open the import from iCloud interface in Affinity photo
2. click the home button and open the Files app.
3. open the Affinity photo folder in files and tap on a photo in that photo.
4. Affinity photo should open and nothing happens.
5. close the the import from iCloud interface in Affinity photo
6. click the home button and open the Files app.
7.open the Affinity photo folder in files and tap on a photo in that photo.
8. nothing happens.
9.you must force restart the app to get the image importing from Files to start working.

I am wondering if the current Affinity Photo app does not have the correct API implemented to view files natively in iOS 11's new files app. I know some apps have been updated to iOS 11 and have included the new API.
I have noticed that other apps that have a File Explorer feature are being updated to include files viewable via the new Files app on iOS 11. There are 2 different implementations I have seen so far, 1st: the app just lists the Service on the side and when tapping on the service to view files, brings up a pop up over the Files app. 2nd: the app updated their API to have files viewable in the files app native, and not a popup.
I have included some screenshots that may help explain what I am talking about.
I hope we can get native file viewing or file management with the new files app.

I asked there support about a iPad version of Pixelmator Pro, and here is what they said. The below link they also mention Vectormator "A groundbreaking, standalone vector graphics editor."

Add support for System Rating and Review Prompts, this would allow users to rate/review from inside your app, this would increase the amount of ratings Affinity photo gets, Which also may increase the amount of people that buy your app.
