    Yep, this is simple but with accurate results? In preferences what is the best setting to convert in cmyk profiled image? Relative colourimetric? Black point compensation? You need to add soft proof adjustments? So many way or simple way? :)

    Thanks all, I'm thinking to do some light image editing occasionally on portable device, so I'm trying to know if it is enough a low cost device like 2-in-1 or mini laptop (with celeron or atom x5, 4GB ram) to use AP

    why if I open an image of 800x600px 300dpi, select all, copy, "new from clipboard" image becomes 192x144px 96dpi?

    Hi, selecting part of an image, edit-copy, file-new from clipboard the crop change original dimension/dpi. If I copy the new part of the image and paste into original then is smaller. I can replicate also in AP 1.4.3. (macosx 10.8.5). thanks

    Great magnetic and polygonal selection tool!! :lol: Any way to constrain a segment of polygonal selection to an angle? (like to have vertical straight segment, horizzontal or 45°)

    I agree. Export preview is one of the most important feature we need to do pro works, also in AP, without try and repeat and waste of time

    I asked that in 2014 https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/2244-guides/ I think that it's a basic feature that could improve work speed

    No one think that would be useful to have a straight grid to follow to adjust right the rotation or vertical/orizontal lens correction?

    Snapping is really improved from 1.4.2 to 1.5 beta 1, basic feature improved. Great. ^_^

    I agree, but I also think there is an habit to settle for mediocrity, or because something is cheap or because is free. AP potential is amazing and I think over time it will prove it even more.

    I agree with velarde and csp, some basic features for professional works are slow in coming and new features, interesting but not essential, are still immature. New features attract but we should be able to use a software where each function does exactly what it promises, preferably better than competitors, starting from the "simplest" things. AP is already an excellent software for what it costs but it can do more and better. The risk is to have so many things running at half their potential.

    Great! Thanks Andy!!! Hope in future also live preview saving files and it will be almost perfect ;) First bug: export persona right panel is empty on "old" os x 10.8.5

    bug on 10.8.5: opening image, switch to export persona and right panel is empty (no options, nothing), turning back to draw persona and right options panel is now empty too (no colour, swatches, stroke…. only gray band). Then close and crash :blink:

    I think in develop persona - lens - rotation, a grid should appear to help adjustment
