  1. Hi thomaso! Thanks for the idea! I forgot that you can also create single master pages on facing pages documents. Works great!
  2. Hi Oufti! Thank you for the fast reply. I was aware of this possibility. What I was asking about is the page margins you set in the document settings though. ๐Ÿ™‚ As I understand, it is not possible to have different margins on a spread?
  3. Thanks, you both! As I am not really working with images that much so I don't really use photo (or its persona). I guess I will check it out.
  4. Hi everyone! I tried looking through the forum and didn't find anything useful... so I hope I didn't miss something and am not asking stupid questions. My question is: is it not possible to set an asymmetric type space in the document while also keeping the facing pages/ two sided view? Best regards Linda
  5. Hi y'all! So I'm currently working on my thesis layout via publisher (going great, btw). One of the aspects is accessible design in printing. So I was wondering - wouldn't it be great to be able to test-view the document in different color-blindness modes? Or even visual-impairment? I know there is workarounds for this. I just believe preparing good tools in-software to produce accessible design shows how much the company behind the tool values or at least acknowledges these principles. What do you think? Linda
  6. +1! I think the bitmap fill works okayish (but for me raster images kinda defeat the purpose of a vector based tool). I mostly use masks + groups for that purpose, but creating a style with a vector pattern would be sooo much more convenient - I really dearly wish for this feature! ๐Ÿซฐ
  7. +1 this is so frustrating! Very often I need to do microadjustments to my text where switching between Thin and ExtraLight just doesn't do - I need the steps between. Many of my fonts just don't work with Affinity. And while I am a huge fan of the software, this really is a big pain-point.
  8. I am opening it via V2, so that as well is not the problem. edit: it's a rather big problem for me, as I have to continue working on the file, so I hope a solution can be found soon ๐Ÿ™‚
  9. I'm sorry, I can't upload it to the forum due to the content. I just opened a different file from the same creation time, which opened perfectly fine - so it's even more weird ๐Ÿคจ
  10. Hi dear affinity Team, I would like to report a bug regarding publisher V2. After my computer had a problem I had to reinstall Windows 11. After that I am not able to open my file that was perfectly fine before. See the screenshot for more information. The file was created in V2 - so it's not a V1 to V2 problem. I tried using the app via windows store and the "normal" installation. Best regards
  11. Hi Garry, sorry for not explaining it. What I'm thinking of is: Having the possibility to make master pages that are not necessarily either one page or a spread, but maybe even three separate pages that when you add new master pages to the project it would automatically add these three pages with the according design to the project. As an example imagine you always have three pages as chapter pages in a document, you could of course just make three master pages and add them after one another - but it would be faster if you add three in one go. As for the categories I was thinking of something like a color coding or actually grouping master pages into a "folder" like you would do with layers in affinity photo. In the end both ideas go into a similar direction, just with a different approach. Hope that explains it
  12. Hi everyone, I'd like to suggest something I've been missing for a while now, which is on one hand multiple side master pages (as for example a chapter or so). The other thing I would love to see is categories or folders for master pages! Greets Linda
