  1. Does it depend on whether or not there are any new s regressions in this version or not?
  2. @Patrick Connor Thanks for this. Just curious if 2.6.4 is the last version in 2.6.x before 2.7.x. Thanks.
  3. it sounds like from this statement that big things are coming...
  4. check out this file at the bottom of page on their statement for new features and produt development on the bottom of page 1:
  5. I think that we need to be patient. There was a long wait and long a silence till 2.6 was available because what the team did was complex. I think 2.7 is going to be bigger. It sounds like the size of the team was increased to help accomplish the goal of pledge #2. I called my bank to find out regarding Canva's plan to do an IPO, and they said that none was scheduled. 2.7 will come eventually because EPUB and a blend tool were promised after the acquisition but are not available yet. I just wish that @Patrick Connor could tell what is going on the way that he told us in a that 2.6 was going to be available in october before it was ready. People get upset and guess what is happening and get upset without being told kind of like what happened with macOS quicklook issue( I don't use apple just an example).
  6. I do have a microsoft account but don't have access to it now. This is why I wanted the team to build this kind of infrastructure kind of like what adopey has.
  7. Is the team working on cloud based infrastructure for 2.7? Being that I am out of the states right now and won't be back till the end of august, cloud infrastructure will benfit me so that I can access and work on my files even though I am not home.
  8. Thats true. All I wanted to get was some more information about it. Thats all.
  9. To know what is going to be fixed in 2.6.4 before the next update cycle.
  10. Are you able to share with us the ETA for the next beta?
  11. good release. good amount of fixed bugs. looking forward to 2.7.x in the near future if next up.
  12. The limited amount of bug fixes in these last 2 builds is because they are RC builds. I will not disagree that more of the newer bugs should be fixed, but I don't think that affinity is dying. I do wish that there is better communication from serif though.
  13. Patrick, Now that 2.6.3 is is about to come out, is 2.7 beta next up? Do you think we can get an estimated time for it without an exact date for it, if that is the case?
  14. Serif Staff, are you able to tell us/comment if we will see an increase development pace in 2.7? Thanks.
  15. I believe that James Ritson mentioned during the 2.6 beta livestream that it took a while for the teams to be reorganized after the acquisition but that should we see an increase in speed of of development in 2.7.
  16. @IthinkthereforeIam These photos are very nice! Can I ask what your camera/lens combination is?
  17. I have no idea when it is coming, although it was one of the promised features after the acquisition. I was just laughing at the fact that this accidental exposure happened.
  18. @Jon W Are you able to comment if scripting will come during 2.x or if its being saved for 3.x? Thanks. If coming during 2.x not expecting a timeframe just wanted to know which cycle it is coming in
  19. A related issue was discussed during the beta but am unsure if anything was done about it to try to resolve it.🙁
  20. Hi @dsnaps12, Are you able to share with us either a screenshot or a link from twitter/x where they said that we will see this starting from 2.7?
  21. @Jon W I can elaborate. I program in java and it is similar to javascript in syntax so I'd assume that numerics is similar. In general there is a lot of similarity between the languages even though they are different. Also I'd love to get a progress report on how things are progressing as that would be very nice...
  22. They say to tag the info bot when an issue is still present.@Affinity Info Bot This bug is still present in RC1.
