  1. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. This was an update through the app itself. When I restarted my computer and my programs, they were all back to where they were before, so I now have all my assets back. Not sure what was going on, but I am thankful they are back.
  2. And the assets that are downloaded from Affinity are still there. Only my assets I made since the upgrade to VS 2 are gone.
  3. Windows 11 and the update was 2.3.1 though I am not sure what it was previously. I have had photo vs 2 since November 2022, I bought the upgrade for vs 2 (I previously had publisher vs 1) End of November 2023. This is the first time it's asked to update it. Oddly enough after checking, the assets I made in Publisher BEFOR I upgraded are still there. It's only all the assets I made since the upgrade to vs 2 that are gone. Edition Windows 11 Home Version 23H2 Installed on ‎4/‎21/‎2023 OS build 22631.3007 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22681.1000.0
  4. Just like my title says, all the assets in Photo and Designer that I created are gone. POOF. If I had known this was a possibility, I could have at least exported them before the update. Now I have to spend the next several days remaking them.
  5. Whenever I export as template in photo vs 2, affinity saves it as a publisher vs 1 template. When I try to open it, file says that it can't open because there are vs. 2 elements in it and closes. Now, if I open file as photo vs 2, it works as it's supposed to work. As you can see in the photo, the I have the original files (which doesn't have the icon on it) are AFPHOTO files and the templates are affinity publisher files. I am on windows 11 if that helps.
  6. Same. I just upgraded to vs 2 from 1 and the file I was using in vs 1 was responsive. I opened it up in vs2 and OMG, everything is slow, I can't even delete hyperlinks. I am seriously rethinking my decision to upgrade now. Am I going to have to do all my hyperlinks in vs1? ugh, I am so hoping there is something in the settings that I have missed because this is painful.
  7. Yes, I mean Global colors. I set them so that when I make a template (I make digital planners), all I have to do is change the global colors, and then everything that is that color changes. Makes things so much easier when you have a 500+ page document that you need to change the colors on.
  8. It would be a big help if Publisher would check for non-global colors in a document. You could have an option to exclude Black and white colors but if someone is added global colors, chances are, they are adding them to the majority of the document. When you have a document that is say 500 pages and you have to check all 500 pages for a navy so dark that it's almost black, but not, is a tad bit cumbersome. Having preflight tag those fonts and objects that are not global colors would be awesome.
  9. It would be great if there was an option to see hyperlinks this way. When working with hundreds of hyperlinks, it's enough to drive you crazy going back to double-check that, yes, yesterday you did add this hyperlink here, but not here.
