  1. I have way more than just a few resources, that I've made, since I started using Affinity Designer. I'll be uploading them steadily and hope people enjoy using them as much as I enjoyed creating them. Some that I will be uploading, have just too many layers to send a simple 'afstyle' file, so... beware... You have been warned! Colored Satin Glass.afstyles
  2. Hi There Everyone, I've have several older styles sitting here on my MacBook, so I thought I'd share a few of them with you guys. Enjoy! PS... I also have a page on the 'Deviantart' website that some of you might enjoy visiting; Mac users especially. Loads more resources and it's all completely free for anybody to download. https://www.deviantart.com/ncoleamy
  3. Thank You, I don't know how I managed to overlook that.

  6. I seem to remember being able to edit posts that I entered, but no longer see that option. Is there still a way that can be done?

  10. I'm still on macOS Sonoma 14.7. Sometime in the last few days, my thumbnails have stopped showing previews. Is this also part of the known glitch and fixed with the update 2.6 also or is something else going on?
  11. Does there happen to be any update / fixes with this issue? I thought I'd add my experience here, also, since my errors went a bit further. I have recently began to have the same issue. This is the 3rd incident. It began only a couple of weeks ago. I've had no updates or changes made to my Mac. I'm working in Affinity Designer 2.5.5, on MacBook Pro M1, still running Sonoma. All files are on my internal drive. When I opened the resource manager, it is completely empty. The file I'm trying to save was originally created 2 days ago. I used the workaround that involved copying work to a newly created file. However, I wanted to compare the aesthetics between the two files, but when I attempted to open the original file, I got an error saying the document was created in Affinity 1. I don't have AD v1 on this computer, so I went to my old 2013 MacBook, that does have v1 on it and tried to open the original file there, but I got another error, advising the ext .afdesign was not recognized. Fortunately I use Time Machine and was able to pull the original from there.
  12. I grabbed your vector balls too... Thank you!
  13. Hi guys, First, Let me just apologize now, for this: Long Back story and hopefully giving the right amount of information, so bear with me here. I am an avid believer in Time Machine backups. I have a 2tb NVME that stays connected, so when I needed to restore the MacOS on my MacBook, I thought it was safe. I've had to do it a couple of times, over the past decade or so and it's always been quite easy. However... this time, a message came up advising I would need to use the migration assistant. I must've done something incorrectly, because I basically wound up reloading all of my 2nd/3rd? party programs manually. After loading Affinity designer and opening the program, a set of my personal brushes, did not load. I went looking for the '.propcols' and making sure that I loaded the latest ones, the set was still missing. I did a more in-depth search and found multiple locations that they are stored. (You guys probably already know this, but just in case) On my particular MacBook, 'vector_brush.propcol' can be found in ... ' /apps affinity designer/contents/resources' ... '/apps/affinity designer 2/contents/resources' ... '/user/me/Library/containers.com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner/data/library/application support/user' ... and finally in ... 'user/me/library/group containers/6LVTQB9699.com.seriflabs/v2/user'. A day or two before, I had just finished creating a set of brushes and had not yet exported them into their own .afbrushes file. So, again, a 2nd time, making sure that I loaded the newest (and largest) 'vector_brush.propcol, that last set of brushes were just not showing up. I'll throw this info in too. When pulling Affinity Designer out of the Time Machine Backup, a 'popup' read the app was corrupted and not usable. So, I downloaded the app, directly from the Serif site. When I deleted that old app, could it have deleted it's '.propcols' also? Here is my actual question, finally. Am I able to load multiple 'vector_brushes.propcol', from each location as well as a few of the most recent ones from time machine (each in a separate folder) into the correct AD2 folder, which I believe would be, the 'Group Containers/v2/user' folder. Or, would Affinity Designer 2 app, as well as my MacBook become so overwhelmed that they would both just blow up? I've tried loading each one, one-by-one, but that quickly became confusing. Best Regards, Nicole
  14. These are seriously awesome! Thank you for sharing them.
