  1. There are layers and there are Layers. I often complained about this wording. I would prefer elements and layers. If you add a Layer via the button on the Layers panel and move the elements into this Layer, "Include layers" preserves this structure. I don't see too much annoyance in this. You have to use a command anyway in Illustrator. If it is CTRL+S or ALT+E makes no big difference to ME. You can hit the dot . on the keyboard to get the regular bounds. Yes, I would like to see this too to have a sticky option for that.
  2. I turned a modified rectangle into a textframe. Moving the nodes irritates me a bit. Is this correct? Attached a video, where the first three nodes behave correct (my opinion), whereas the other three nodes behave wrong (my opinion). nodesbehaviour.mp4
  3. I don't know if there is a solution to get you where you want. My solution is something more like a hack. See attached image. Maybe someone has a better solution?
  4. Perhaps this gives you a clue: Or you have to do it the hard way. Exporting the first half of your document, if this works, the fault is in the other half. If not vary the range until you found the faulty page. I have to admit that this could be quite some work. My first guess would be, that an image is to blame.
  5. In the German version the "New Spread" button is cut off.
  6. In the first post Machine Learning is said to be meant only for AP, but APu has the same settings.
  7. Once placed, look at the top context toolbar. There is a dropdown called Artboard which holds all selectable pages.
  8. Much better. As said, never used it before.
  9. Start the application in reset mode (hold CTRL) and reset only the shortcuts. I confess, I never did this before, but it should work.
  10. Who said unpredictably? I always quite often sometimes know what I do. From your own experience, how often did hiding an object ruined your layout? I must confess, that my experiments were not based on a real use case.
  11. Look up the panel Fields and change the title of the duplicated document there.
  12. I stumbled upon this today. Creating two text frames lying on each other. One has a text wrap applied, the other not. When I now make the frame with the text wrap invisible, the text wrap is still calculated. Is this by design? I would say, that INVISIBLE elements should have NO impact on a layout.
  13. Using 2.5.5.xxxx on Win10Pro and Yes, the presets are reliable and I use them every day. If this feature is not stable for you, you should post a bug report to be looked at.
  14. Not sure. Works for me ... most of the time. Example attached (does not matter, that it was made with beta).
  15. You are absolutely right. Big SORRY to @Petar Petrenko and a Big THANKS to @MikeTO
  16. Unfortunately did not found the hyphenation.dic, but perhaps attached file will help you a bit? Most (not all) languages can be found here: https://github.com/LibreOffice/dictionaries EDIT: Packed the files again, hope they work! mk_MK.zip
  19. There is a field for tab stop under the format. But this has no effect if the position of the tab stop is smaller than the characters before the tab stop. Oh dear, not my language.
  20. Which language is not supported? If the dictionary is added, you'll find the language at Auto Correct. Or am I wrong? 🤔 Sometimes words are alike in different languages, but have other meanings ... Bad (German for bath)
  21. Remove the >> in the format if you don't want to have a tab in it.
  22. Maybe you should turn "Keep with next xx lines" on the Paragraph panel, section Flow Options to 0?
  23. This kind of Preflight warning does not make totally sense to me. It just checks if the PDF version of the placed document fits the PDF version the last time a document was exported. Regarding the missing fonts: Some PDF creators tend to show strange font names, which are not related to the real font names. @kenmcd knows it surely better? So I would say, place the PDF and have an eye on the PDF version during export.
  24. Oh dear, simplest way in AP: Flatten the document and crop then. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
