Due to the addition of global colours and document palettes, each document now remembers its own last selected palette since the palette might or might not exist. The bug is that the last selected palette is not serialised with the document so when you load it back up it just defaults to the top palette which is usually a document palette. Edit: I might look to see if I can improve on some of the logic but we are very close to app store submission, so we try to avoid anything that can potentially break the app even more!

A few questions and maybe a request or two?
Andrew Tang replied to Hokusai's topic in Older Feedback & Suggestion Posts
Hi Hokusai, I've moved this thread into the feature request forum for now. Unfortunately, due to us being in UI and feature lock down for the release, it will be too late to implement most of those items. But thanks for letting us know and we take it into consideration for the next beta. Sorry for the wait, we just have so much to do. :)- 5 replies

Bug when more than nine tabs open
Andrew Tang replied to olibclarke's topic in [ARCHIVE] Designer beta on macOS threads
Hi, I managed to reproduce the problem. This bug only occurs with unsaved files it looks like,so you shouldn't have a problem for now as long as you save the files first. I will look into fixing the issue though as it is a bug. A Edit: This issue has now been fixed for the next beta. -
There isn't currently anyway to do these yet. You can request them as feature improvement for the future since we aren't accepting any new features at this stage right now. :) I especially like the idea of toggling useful colour models. Try menu items View -> Undock Tools... This just acts like OSX System -> Preferences for now.

Color names

Are you in list mode? -
Can you tell us anything about your setup? Is it just the letter I? Are you in separated mode? Multiple documents opened? System language and keyboard language? The problem we are having with this bug is that even though we know a few of our users have experience it including MEB, we are not able to reproduce it here in the Dev labs and so it become almost impossible to fix.

Apple Photos Integration (extentions)
Andrew Tang replied to stefan2409's topic in [ARCHIVE] Photo beta on macOS threads
We have just fixed this so it will be in the next beta release! :) -
Deselect exists in both Pixel and Draw persona so it should work. As mentioned before, check your menu item to see if the shortcut exists. If it doesn't check the keyboard shortcuts for that persona, there might already be used in that persona for something else. There's absolutely no reason why you can't have Command-D for Deselect in both personas.

Affinity TV - Beta Testers Required!
Andrew Tang replied to Andy Somerfield's topic in News and Information
That's actually very interesting. My friends and I are avid users of Twitch since we stream our own contents, and participate in spectating E-Sports for many years (even before they got rid of Justin.tv). However, I must admit that neither my friends nor I have ever realised there was a creative section amidst all the gaming content. You can see that no where on Twitch main page do they actively advertise their Creative section. Their categories are purely Game base - Featured Games, Top Videos, Top PS4, Top XBox... If you go into any section itself, the left navigation panel only refers to browse Games, not creative content. Even promoted channels and advertising are all game related. So we were never aware such a thing existed. I think Twitch really needs to make it more publicly visible especially if they want it to be a viable alternative to YouTube. The content we currently have on Apple TV is not isolated to that device since all the videos are available on Vimeo. Vimeo (as well as YouTube) is also available as apps on multitude of platforms so it isn't really an issue. If we ever do live streaming then Twitch is a good platform, (although personally I think the servers for YouTube are better :P) and one of the advantages as you have mentioned is live chat. :) -
Affinity TV - Beta Testers Required!

Out of interest, what advantages does it have over YouTube or Vimeo? I'm surprise its on there. Twitch TV is primarily used for Games - mainly live streaming and E-Sport. Creative work and tutorials is the last place I would expect that site to have. If you take a look at Twitch about page, their first line is: 'Twitch is the world’s leading social video platform and community for gamers.' I would expect these contents to be available on Vimeo and YouTube though, not Twitch. Edit: We do have our own channel page in a way. It's on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/macaffinity/videos/ -
