  1. I checked how the template's folder was including the templates.xml, copied the code and pasted it into the assets.xml then I edited the link to where I want to synchronize my assets. But, maybe I tried it wrong because every time I close AP it overwrites back the assets.xml to default. It is a very nice suggestion do.
  2. Aside from updating the drivers of my GPU, Lowering the RAM usage also minimized the crashes for me.
  3. Ever since I Updated the drivers, (directly from the intel website) I rarely have crashes, I'm piety sure the tech guys from Serif are working on a standardizes version of their renderer or some other thing that will fix the issue.
  4. I create a lot of new icons for my web projects, some times I use Photo, other times I use Designer, and when working in one environment more than often, I need some asset that happens to be in another of the Apps, so I have to go to the other one, copy the asset and then go back to where I'm creating my new art, so it's difficult to backup & update the assets panel when I remember that they are not holding the same mount of elements. Is there a way that the assets libraries could update as the font do in real time every time I install a new font? It would be helpful and quite convenient to no mater if I'm on Photo or Designer, all my icons and graphic element could be auto shared an all 3 (Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo and Affinity Publisher) #AssetsPanel
  5. I do use .ico files for my favicons on all wave pages, and I do think it's a must-have format in Affinity Designer and Photo. It's one of those features that are not so often used but very useful when required.
  6. I know, but it was either that or facing a frozen screen... I need to be productive. Anyway. As I said, finding the correct drivers and installing them fixed the whole problem for me. Thank You for your coment Mark 🤙
  7. I updated my Graphics controller to the latest Intel® UHD Graphics 620 and that solved every problem I had. Prior to that I had to disable graphics acceleration and change the renderer to WARP But as I said, Updating the Graphics Driver fixed all my problems.

  9. I got it to work, After deselecting the Hardware acceleration I changed the renderer to WARP and the freezing went away. At lest form me it's working now. I sincerely hope the formidable programmers at Serif find the bug and fix it, I love Affinity and I refuse to go back to PhotoShop and Illustrator.
  10. Hello Mark, I've disabled hardware acceleration even before knowing it could help. As You can see on the task's manager, It doesn't show.
  11. Done that and didn't work. It has to be a memory problem because the app by itself consume more than 800 MB and when opening any project regardless of the size, it jumps all the way to 1.3 GB.
  12. I'm having the same issue, every time I load a smart filter and play around with the settings, the program freezes, the same happens when I rotate an Image. I deactivated the Graphics acceleration feature and that helped a little. Another thing and this I consider to be a serious issue, the amount of memory used by Affinity Photo and Affinity Design, more than 1.3 gigs. My CPU's fan goes crazy, the mouse becomes unresponsive and clicking on the browser becomes a slow and stalking time wait. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1.99 GHz RAM 8.00 GB (7.82 GB usable) 64 bits, x64 Windows 10 Home Version 20H2 OS Version 19042.746 Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 620 Controller Version: 27.20.100.8476
  13. I share my assets across all the affinity apps, and I'm constantly updating my assets library, but its tedious deleting and reloading the updated versión on all apps once I'v added new content after a new project. It would be so nice if in the drop-down menú of the Assets Panel there was an UPDATE PERSONAL ASSETS button.
