  1. A known issue. Try turning off Hardware Acceleration: > Edit > Preferences > Performance
  2. In other words..., turn off acceleration to make it go faster.
  3. Sorry..., I meant to say that Hardware Acceleration is still causing problems for some users in V2. So sad...
  4. What! Hardware Acceleration is still a thing in V2? Sad...
  5. I sure hope his problem stemmed from V1. If it's from V2, it's a major disappointment.
  6. What "crash fixes" have you tried? How about disabling Hardware Acceleration? > Edit > Preferences > Performance
  7. What you describe are the typical characteristics of a conflict between your graphics driver and your GPU. Disabling Hardware Acceleration (OpenCL) usually fixes it. It did for me, and many others. You could see if your graphics driver can be updated. It's worked for some.
  8. What sort of files? Where did they come from? How were they created? Can you share some here?
  9. Without much to go on..., a likely cause could be a problem with Hardware Acceleration. Try turning it off: >> Edit >> Preferences >> Performance If that didn't fix it, check for a Third Party Software conflict:
  10. New features in 2.0? I'd be happy if they just fixed all the bugs in 1.0, starting with the OpenCL mess in Photo.
  11. Maybe try posting in the right forum... https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/73-designer-bugs-found-on-macos/
  12. Good question @Snoopy17. OpenCL was introduced about 18 months ago. It (probably) works for most people, but not all. Like you, I'm one of the unlucky ones. There is some wild speculation that a new version (v2) might be coming. But will it fix the OpenCL issue? Affinity is not saying. Fingers crossed...
  13. Hey @peseoane, I had a similar problem with glitchy sliders about a year ago. It was caused by a conflict with the graphics driver and Hardware Acceleration (OpenCL). At the time, I had to roll back to an earlier version of the graphics driver, or keep Hardware Acceleration OFF. Not a solution, but a compromise.
  14. @An95Gz said: "I need help with a problem that no longer lets me work. I open the program, and at any time, with any tool the program freezes and I have the only option to close it without being able to save the file. When I close it and reopen it there is no record of what I did, I have to rearrange my workspace and configure the settings of my tools. I formatted my PC thinking it would fix it but it did not. I have the updated drivers. Thank you, greetings from Argentina." Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version) --------------------------------------- Hi @An95Gz, the first thing to try is to disable Hardware Acceleration. Go to: Edit >> Preferences >> Performance --------------------------------------- Hola @An95Gz, primero que hay que intentar es desactivar la Aceleración por Hardware. Ve a: Edición >> Preferencias >> Rendimiento.
  15. Hey @rcapitao There's been no improvement that I can see. I too am using the Intel UHD 620.
  16. So did you try any suggestions? Third party software conflict? Disabling Hardware Acceleration? Updating graphics drivers with a clean install? If none of these work, you'll need to provide much more information about your system and your situation.
  17. Disabling Hardware Acceleration should fix it. Intel UHD Graphics 620 doesn't play nice with HA. I know..., I have the same.
  18. Intel HD or UHD graphics don't always play nice with Affinity Photo & Hardware Acceleration. I keep mine off.
  19. Re #1: This could be caused by a conflict with your graphics driver and the Hardware Acceleration setting in Affinity Photo. Try deselecting Hardware Acceleration in Edit > Preferences > Performance, reboot and see if that helps.
  20. Pruebe a desactivar la aceleración por hardware. Ve a Edición > Preferencias > Rendimiento. En algunos sistemas, la tarjeta gráfica dedicada de Intel causa problemas cuando la Aceleración de Hardware está activada. ---------------------- Try turning OFF Hardware Acceleration. Go to Edit > Preferences > Performance. On some systems, Intel's dedicated graphics card causes problems when Hardware Acceleration is enabled.
  21. Yes..., it's known. Hardware Acceleration (for some users) can causes artefacts to corrupt the image. Are they working on it? I sure hope so!
