  1. Hi @skoz Welcome to the Affinity forums. Thanks for sharing the video of the issue. Would you be able to upload your file so I can take a closer look? Thanks
  2. HI @kei Welcome to the Affinity forums and thanks for uploading the video of your issue. It looks similar to an issue with symbols and grouped objects moving. I'll take a closer look at your file and get back to you.
  3. HI @Panchdara the pun made me chuckle. As @walt.farrell said, it's the opacity on the layers panel that you need in this instance.
  4. Hi @Rob_M Welcome to the Affinity forums. Would you be able to upload a video of this happening and the file you are working on too? Thanks
  5. Hi @LibreTraining That's really interesting, thanks for all the info. It definitely explains a lot, as I've never seen a font do this before.
  6. @Alfred Wow, I am guessing you might be right and this might not be an "official" font after all.
  7. Hi @Lothar_SA I was able to reproduce your issue in Publisher, Designer, Photo & Illustrator but oddly not in Word. The apps seem to be using the Auto setting from the font itself. Word must have kerning set to 0% as default. I have managed to adjust it by doing the following: Highlight the text you have applied the font to. Click the Character tab > Under Positioning and Transform change the Kerning from Auto to 0% It should now look more uniform.
  8. Hi @aputski That's great news, at least you can move files and continue to work while you solve the problem. I would suggest doing a bit of troubleshooting. I would reset the PRAM as I read on another thread that doing that worked for one user. I'd also do a scan of the disk: To reset the PRAM - https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204063 Scan the disk - https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT210898 Also - consider installing EtreCheck if you don't already have it: https://etrecheck.com Good luck.
  9. Hey @Seanzy Thanks for the extra info. I'm glad to hear that the folders are functioning as they should. This sounds like it could be a cosmetic issue in that case. I have a couple more questions for you: Did you start saving files to the iCloud with our desktop apps first or our iPad apps? I know personally I had the desktop apps a year before but only started saving Affinity files to the iCloud once I got my iPad this year. When you say the logos are correct on the iPad do you mean the iCloud folders or your local folders? Thanks
  10. Hi @soapman Would you be able to enable 'Show Mouse Clicks' and upload a video of this happening please? If you could choose the method that is most repeatable that would be a huge help. Click Cmd + Shift + 5 > Select Options - Show Mouse Clicks Thanks
  11. Hi @Seanzy Welcome to the Affinity forums. I've been unable to recreate this, however, on looking into it - it seems to be an old issue that has reappeared. I'd like to see if I can recreate it and then pass the details on to development. So I'm going to need a bit more information. How long have you had the apps? Do you only use the Affinity iCloud folders on your Mac or do you use them on an iPad too? If you double-click one of the files in the Affinity Designer folder does it open in the correct app? Thanks
  12. Hi @aputski Welcome to the Affinity forums. I'm sorry to hear you are having this issue. I have a couple of questions for you: Did you purchase Affinity Designer from the Mac App Store? Can you tell me how many fonts you have installed? Thanks
  13. That's great news @ojankioa thanks for letting me know šŸ™Œ
  14. Hi @MapleGuy I have managed to recreate this, it is a known issue so I have passed your information on to the development team. It's great to see that you are able to work around it. Thanks for sharing your temporary solution. šŸ‘
  15. Hi @ojankioa Welcome to the Affinity forums. šŸ‘ As @DM1 asks above I think the issue happens between steps 5 and 6. I would do the following: 5. On my MacBook > Open from Cloud > change the red square > Save to Cloud > *Choose an updated filename such as yourfilename-edited.afdesign 6. Select Open from Cloud on iPad > The square has updated. If you go back to an open file on your iPad it will not auto-update with the edits from your MacBook. * I recommend updating the filename as when you open the file on your iPad you might still have the original open and it is possible to overwrite your MacBook work if you get confused. This way you have an original you can go back to should you need to and your updated work.
  16. Thanks for additional info, I have reproduced the issue. I can see that this issue has already been reported and I will include all this new information to give development a little nudge. Also thanks for adding your specs to your signature. šŸ™Œ
  17. Thanks for the video. I will have another look. Just out of interest can you also let me know what iPad model you are using / what OS it is on / what version of Affinity Designer you are using too? šŸ‘
  18. Hi @konstantnnn Would you be able to create another video with Show touches activated please? It's difficult to see what is happening here so I haven't been able to recreate it: Go to cog > General > Select - Show touches Thanks
  19. Hi @sibsontheroad Welcome to the Affinity forums. Are you able to give me some more information here so that I can try and recreate it? Ideally I'd need you to upload a video of this happening and the file you are using please? To show mouse clicks: Click Cmd + Shift + 5 > Select - Show Mouse Clicks To make a screen recording: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208721
  20. Hi @flowi Thanks for the screenshots. Can you give us some more information please? I am not able to comment based on the screenshots alone. 1. What is the native resolution of your mbp and what resolution is it running at? 2. What model of monitor are you using? Is 2560x1600 the native resolution and what is it running at? 3. Is the output set to mirror the laptop display or extend on to it? 4. What DPI settings have you set in your OS?
  21. Hi @bia lyssa Would you be able to upload the file you are referring to so I can take a closer look please? I do also recommend trying the additional suggestions that @Rob123456789 mentioned above, especially step 1.
  22. HI @MapleGuy Welcome to the Affinity forums. Would you be able to upload the file you are working on please so I can take a closer look?
  23. Hi @Littleguybigcity Welcome to the Affinity forums. I'm sorry you are having these issues. The functionality of the 2 finger modifier has indeed changed to keep it more in line with other tools gestures. You are correct that you now need to use the 4 finger modifier instead. Sorry for the confusion. The documentation team do know that the tutorials and help file need updating and are working on this. I will also pass on your information to give the issue a little prod.
  24. Hi @SATO Welcome to the Affinity forums. I am sorry to hear you are having these issues. Can I ask you to confirm whether you are using the iPad Pro 2020 model? So that I can see specifically what you are referring to is it possible to upload a video of this in action please? Could you also change your settings to show touches before recording it? To show touches: Go to cog > General > Select - Show touches For iPad screen recordings: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT207935 Thanks
