Thanks for that. I updated Affinity Designer. All seemed to be going well, but it crashed again. This time however there was a recovery file, which I didn't have in the crashes prior to the update. Hi @SPaceBar, thanks for your message. I tried several times to record the software crashing but it seemed to work fine for a few days. The minute I stopped the screen recording it crashed once again, so I finally managed to get a video of it crashing. I can also send you the crash report if it's useful. Hi there, When tracing the outline of a .jpeg file using the pencil tool, the app crashed after 8 or so lines. I reopened the app several times and the same issue occurred. I then created a new doc to transfer my work across but the same issue repeated itself there. Any suggestions greatly appreciated, Rob
